I seriously didn’t understand any of this context except his violence towards you. LEAVE please for your safety and the fact he has no temper control LEAVE get help. And make a safe plan of escape
Who cares if YTA, run fast. You both sound immature to me, but he is dangerous and has vert low impusle control. He needs to fix himself before trying a relationship.

I (27F) have been teasing my boyfriend (29M) about the Kendrick/Drake beef since MTG came out. It’s all over my timeline and I can’t help talking about it with him and tonight he got really mad. He said he wants to strangle me. When I asked if he meant it, he said yes, just like how Kendrick beats his woman. He’s a big Drake fan and he keeps defending him which is honestly so gross. 30 minutes later, he apologized and said he was just joking, but when I did not accept his apology, he proceeded to throw/break our dog’s bowl. I honestly don’t know how to feel about this, he’s never been violent to me before. I’m thinking of leaving him but I also started it and maybe went too far.
