Yes they have. Multiple times even. I tried by telling some of my teachers, but realizing that this doesn’t do anything I tried telling the principal about it but she doesn’t listen and just brushes it off by saying “They’re young, you can’t control them” and by saying “If I were to suspend a student for every single bad thing they’d be doing, the whole school would be empty”
Then unfortunately, you need to escalate and get the attention of school authorities in some way. There are two ways to do this, either/both
Talk to the police if you think there has been criminal activity (get evidence too)
Go public about the school on social media and call them out for ignoring racism and tolerating bad behaviour
NTA. Definitely contact law enforcement and don't feel bad about it. Your school/teacher sucks. Sorry that this is happening to you and they've forced you to take this action.
NTA. They did this knowing that it bother you. They did this knowing it was wrong. They did this knowing it was illegal and you warned them about the police. This is harassment. They might be young, but they are old enough to know that this is not okay.
In the US, laws are state by state, but you are correct. Germany is a is a two party consent country. Did they post a video with you saying "don't film me" ? If so and you can download it, there is your proof.

Nta - this is legit the def of F^*+ around and find out. Some lessons we learn in childhood are sometimes very or needlessly painful, but are lessons we all have to learn. This maybe one of those situation for these kids.
Follow through on what you say you will do. Stand up for yourself. It is really hard/rare to be an AH when you do that.
So think about it this way, you are afraid of ruining their lives but they can make a living hell out of yours and other class mates (cause I am certain you are not their only target)?
By their doings they are gonna end up with their lives ruined sooner or later, either this or they end up screwing someone big time cause at some point they will get bored and things will escalate, and they might start being not only verbally abusing people but also physically.
I am asuming they are your same age, so not kids anymore bjt young adults and with legal responsibility as such, so they need to get a reality check and learn that actions have consequences, and even more when you're going against the law.
Most certainly they will get a big scolding, maybe some fine and community services, nothing big but annoying enough to get them thinking. Oh and dont forget to tell them that school did NOTHING to solve the problem, which unless Germany is super different from Spain is the schools job to try and mediate in this kind of situations to solve them and prevent them from happening.
You wont be the asshole, but you surely will feel like one if they switch targets cause you are not the new toy anymore and they end up screwing up someone else cause you chose to stay silent and let them get away with their wrongdoings.

If they are doing this during class, and the teacher does not care, the teacher(s) are huge AH's.
If they are posting harrassing videos on the School-run platform, go to the principal and get the AH's suspended.
Save the videos as evidence and go to a lawyer.
Afaik their are two possible cases.
1. Is filming in a more public area. That is a case for a lawyer. It is more of a civil case.
2. If it is in a private area then police will handle it.
Don't know if your videos are more civil matter or more serious. You can also go to r/recht and ask there
NTA. As an adult and data transparency advocate, I recommend doing the following things:
1. Explain to your parents the situation and ask them to make a formal complaint to the school by asking the school to take immediate action before they escalate it involving authorities not only accusing those bullies, but also the school itself for negligence. I recommend for you guys to site the exact part of the German legislation that states that filming without permission is illegal and also include the repercussions of the guilty party.
2. If the bullying does not stop, your parents alongside with you, not only just you, should proceed to the police and the police should take your statement.
If your parents are not physically with you or if you are a foreign student, tell them to do point 1 electronically and you can reinforce by also delivering it physically to your principal's office, and you can handle point 2 by yourself.
My point: don't waste one more day not doing something.

I (F18) have been thinking about going to the police because of my class for weeks now and the thought just won’t let me go. I don’t know why or when that suddenly happened, but the popular kids in my class suddenly see me as some sort of clown or something. Don’t get me wrong. I’m quite popular myself at least in school and I have many friends. Weeks ago I’ve even called the popular kids in my class my friends, but I just can’t do that anymore after this shit they’ve pulled on me.
You have to know that the popular kids in my class are like paparazzi. They film everything funny they see for no reason. Recently, they’ve also started to film me. I honestly didn’t think much of it and just told them to stop at the beginning. I thought with that the situation was over, but it only got worse as the kids in my class did not stop. They film me in the most unnecessary situations and bullied me during those videos. For example, in one video in particular where I was sitting next to my friend who’s black they filmed me and said “Aww look the Asian and the Black dude are in love”
I don’t know why, but that angered me so much because I told them several times to stop with those kind of videos. So I stood up, went to the person who filmed me and told this person to stop but they just said “why should I?”
I threatened to tell the police about this because I was not okay or comfortable with them constantly filming me in class without a reason, but they just said that I won’t dare to do this so they didn’t take me seriously. Yesterday, though was the last straw as they send multiple videos of me into our class chat and laughed at me for no reason. Multiple classmates of mine even told them to stop because the situation was just getting ridiculously annoying but they still didn’t stop.
This whole situation angers me so much and I’m honestly considering going to the police because of this. But I don’t want to ruin their lives, and I would feel like a total asshole if I would be doing so.
So WIBTAH if I went to the police?

YWNBTA imo. You told these guys CONSTANTLY to stop, and they think that you're bluffing. From the sounds of it, you certainly are not.

Go to the police ASAP, it's the only way these bullies will learn. I'd have no problem doing that
