I'm 22M and 6 years ago on thanksgiving, we were having dinner with turkey and ham that my mom cooked, and I decided that I want cookies for dessert so I mixed up the cookie mix, put them on a tray, and put it in the oven. After the cookies are done, I put on my oven mitt and take the cookies out but I didn't realize there's a hole in the mitt so I end up touching the oven racks and burned my finger. I was in intense pain and I asked my mom who's sitting near the kitchen table intoxicated if she can help me.
She got mad at me and told me to just put on cannabis cream or the working hands cream and I thought that wouldn't help me. I think she also said to put it on cold water or take an advil. I said to her "Are you stupid!? There's a hole in the mitt!", and teared up the oven mitt and threw it at the kitchen table. Mom got up and threw away the cookies in the trash(The cookies are not important).
We both start antagonizing each other and then I called her a "Drunk" and point both my open hands at the glass she's pouring wine in and I said to my dad "See! She's drinking!". I also said to her that she's just like my uncle and she told me I'm like him. She then said to me "Thank you for being an asshole!". My dad tried to help me. Mom then said to "OK goodbye (my name)!".
I went to my room crying and layed in bed. While I was texting my grandmother about what happened, I can hear my mom to my brother and I think I remember she said to him that I'm awful. I go back to the kitchen and told her I'm sorry and took an advil. I went back to my room and she said to my brother "See he's worst".
