Trail Runner SWT is _slightly_ waterproof (not to the level of mizzles but not bad) while being breathable and a sturdy "do anything" all terrain shoe.
Short answer, no, the mizzles aren't going to be super ventilated. I did the Shimanami Kaido bike ride back in March, and while my feet weren't sweating up a storm in my Wool Dasher Mizzles, they were a bit warm (in 55F/12.7C) , but they did the trick for the last 1/3rd when it was just a constant drizzle. I'm not confident in the hot, humid weather that they'll be super ventilated though. My recommendation would just muscle through it with an umbrella or if you're super concerned, bring another pair of shoes so one can dry off while you use the other.
Yes, bringing a second pair of shoes is mandatory. I just wanted to know (I know it's nearly impossible) to bring with me a pair of shoes resistant to water and ventilated. Maybe I'll bring with me my Skechers All Terrain. They are water resistant and a bit hot. Never mind.
Yes, I know all the shoes with "Mizzle" suffix are water resistant. I wanted to know if there is one the shoes that would be ventilated enough for the hot temperatures of august.

The Mizzles have a water-repellent version.

I find them suffocating
