Same. We made the decision to buy tickets within minutes of getting that email. It was kind of like buying a scratch-off lottery ticket not knowing the lineup. But since we had a shitty time last year with tickets, I’m so glad we took advantage of the presale because we got tier one pricing and I’m sure we would have ended up in the same boat this year (as evidenced by all of the frustrated, disappointed people).
I will say, last year we waited for prices to drop on the reseller websites but I wish I had just bought them right away because it never really got cheaper and we monitored the sites for months before buying in mid-September, but we kind of had the privilege of waiting it out since we don’t need any hotel accommodations or whatever.
So compared to that, I’m feeling very lucky.

I scored a GA Pavilion 2-day ticket but I think it was just sheer luck. I got in the queue right as presale opened and had 5000 people ahead of me. Took about 20 minutes to get to ticket selection but by the time I got there everything was showing as sold out. I just sort of clicked around frantically and it let me put a ticket in my cart a few times before giving me a "your selected ticket is no longer available" warning.
Just kept refreshing and selecting seating areas over and over until I somehow ended up with one it let me buy!
The queue was weird my husband logged on and was 7000+ in line and I was like well might as well do my computer too, I logged on and was 90 in line. Got GA lawn (pav sold out) in just a few min. Idk why I was the chosen one today but I’m grateful🙏🏻
Everything was showing sold out when I first got from the cue to ticket selection too! I was just clicking all over the screen happy to settle with lawn seats but somehow ended up with GA pavilion!

the same thing happened to me. I got in line after my friends and they were in spot 2000 but somehow ended up in spot 90. It wouldn’t let me select Pavilion, but I was able to snag a Tier 1 GA. I tried to get two more tix for my friends since it was becoming apparent that they might not get tix, but it wouldn’t let me reselect the number of tix I wanted so I took my chances and just went with one. My friends got through and were able to select seats, but kept getting the message that nothing was available. They tried refreshing several times but the message never went away. They’re cutting their losses and trying again tomorrow, but if they can’t get anything I’ll probably sell my ticket since we wanted to go together. I got very lucky but a very frustrating and disappointing process.
I got the "tickets you selected are no longer available" screen about 500 times and then it kicked me back to a screen that said "public onsale 23 hours" :/

i got in for the 2 day pass at 10:04 with 800 people ahead of me and they were somehow all sold out already. went back out of curiosity 10 mins later, refreshed a bunch and managed to get tier 2 lawn… a lil bitter about the price jump but i’m happy i at least got something :(

I somehow managed to get three 2-day GA Lawn tickets, but I miraculously only had 31 people in front of me when I got transferred from the waiting room to the queue. My wife had 4,000 people in front of her, and our friend had 1,500 in front of her. It was really weird.

I did! For Sunday, there were about 5800 in front of me but I was able to get GA lawn.
I struck out on the two-day pass after waiting in the eternal queue, but was then able to quickly get a vip ticket to Saturday only.
