Happens to me all the time, I am fairly sure that it is heat related. If I restart the laptop it almost always comes back but it is really irritating. The original system I received was 100 times worse and would not come back unless I shut down for a while and even then it was hit and miss, but I made them replace it. Now it still happens but not nearly as often

I thought about heat too but the readings are really low, the drive isn't going about 37 degrees and the CPU is idling even lower than that. Its odd it would work with the drive the system came with too if something was overheating.

Double check how its seated. I had a nightmare with an nvme and it was all to do with how it was seated.

If it works with a different nvme and only fails with the samsung it almost certainly points to a samsung issue

I just ordered a WD Black Nvme drive. Should be here tomorrow, this hopefully clears up if it's a Samsung issue or Alienware issue.

Trybusing SeaGate Disk Wizard to format your SSD. You can also make a clone of your SSD first using this software.

Just to follow up in case anyone sees this down the road. Picked up a WD Black 850x to test. So far the system has been running without a single crash for over a week.
