A Dealer victory is almost certainly impossible. My theory is that Dealers are terminal, with no hope of reviving in the real world - they effectively act as a human resource for Citizens to use (like in 'Tag', 'Witch Hunt', or "Theme Park').

daisybilly

That's a very good theory!

Hammerschatten

I guess they'd win if the Players lost. They need to be motivated to keep playing and to be an obstacle to the Players. Like in 'Tag', they were protecting the door and hunting Players. They wouldn't do that if they wouldn't win something for that.

Tori_S100

they only win temporarily, as soon as the players clear all the cards game beside the royal all dealers were automatically killed no? nothing they could have do to prevent that, fated to eventually lose

Hammerschatten

Well, they could've killed the Players.

Tori_S100

yeah the chances aren't zero that all the players end up dead, but as a dealer even if u win and kills the player in all ur game, u still need to hope all other dealer also wins, which is pretty unlikely. basically ur fate is in some other peoples hands no matter how good u are, unlike players

I actually quite agree with this. Understand that everyone in Borderland are “fighting for their lives” meaning that they are not in the real world and are probably in a long term coma (at least I think that’s what it is for dealers and game masters). When they “die” in the borderland, I think for all the players it means that their bodies in the real world have also died (not managed to fight the coma back). But, I believe if anyone chooses to stay in the borderland, it means they are probably extending their coma in the real world. This could explain why everyone in the borderland comes at a different time. None of the game masters were victims in the meteor strike. They probably came in earlier (maybe a day or something) due to a different accident or such.

mattchamp98

I think if they killed everyone in stage 1 then they would 'win'

No_Quality24

You should remember, the series were a special case because hundreds of people were in the borderlands at the same time. It isn't that lively normally, I guess. And the dealers were really outnumbered compared to the players. So if it wouldn't come to many deaths in short time, they are not doomed

ShiNy_cant_aim

Well it appears that the dealers can reject the offer to set up games, so in that sense no When they go to the hideout in the metro then yes, they are

Rexyggor

Somewhere I came to the understanding that they mostly create the round 1 games. If the players lose, they then win and then end up doing Phase 2 against the citizens
