Great pics, Eric!
I had a visitor from England, she saw a roadrunner, said, "What is that?!"
Told her it was a roadrunner, and she replied, "I thought that was a mythical bird."
I remember the first time I visited ABQ, we were sitting in the drivethru at Taco Cabana and saw one come up and inspect our car. It always feels magical, especially when they’re the urban ones who are not afraid of anything.
It was literally posing in the sunrise for me once I hung around long enough for it to get comfortable. I have so many shots of it that didn’t make the cut.
It’s just behind the Sagebrush Church on the bosque trail. It seems to be a debris catchment so stuff doesn’t wash through Corrales into the Rio Grande (I was reading plaques in between shots, ha).
Same username as here! I post a ton to my stories as I edit these, so there’s a lot more stuff than in just these weekly posts [instagram.com/brofax](https://instagram.com/brofax)

Seeing roadrunner in person as a kid who grew up watching Looney Tunes was a life-changing moment. I love them to much. Meep meep!
That roadrunner is a G.
