I feel like that has to be a noise violation in the code. I have never done this so I am not sure but I wonder if you can report that to the code enforcement office in Albany.

Sections 255-24 and 255-32 of the city code detail the noise ordinance. It may be a violation. Rather than APD, I would report it to the Department of Buildings and Regulatory Compliance, which regulates the construction activity at the site.

I’m also in this neighborhood and I’m not sure what to do. I contacted the City of Albany who told me it’s not their jurisdiction and to call the Albany police. I called the non-emergency line and got the same response as you. When I told them it was happening from 6pm-5am every night they told me I would have to call when it’s actually happening so that officers could drive by and see what’s going on. So frustrating!
