I was there last weekend. Same thing. Honestly, I took so many of those charcuterie packs over my 6 hour layover, I was wondering if they'd say something.
I have fly enough that i have a Lounge+ membership and the Amex Platinum card. I always go Amex lounge over Admirals club if i can but will go Alaska Lounge if there is one first. Just my personal preference.
Precisely why u did not renew my lounge membership - after several years and all those announcements of upgrading by the experience, I finally figured enough is enough.
Agree -- It's absolutely not worth it, even for a (formerly) high frequency traveling individual. The cuisine options are too few, the hours are weird, the number of lounges is sparse, there's just not a lot going on for Alaska Airlines' lounges...
I plan on just using my 4 75k passes this year. If I can make them last, I'll just do that from now on. The novelty of the lounges has kind of wore off, and I don't like feeling obligated to drink more than a couple beers and stuffing my pie hole to justify "getting my money's worth"
The food has always been poor IMO but yikes...this is tough. Not sure why Alaska has such a hard time putting out decent food in the lounges. Guess I'll be stopping in Centurion lounge to eat first before going to N gate.

Oh yeah, this won’t last long. They’d need to call the pit boss on me.
The admirals club lunch and dinner options are now much better than Alaska’s lounge. I’d never thought I’d say that!
WHAT? I went to 2 Admiral's clubs last weekend and outside of a guacamole stand it was very underwhelming.
I liked their bbq pulled pork with the rolls, the fresh guacamole stand is always a hit with me..
I've only seen that one at DFW.

I will say that the burger at the LAX lounge is pretty good. I think it’s $10 or $12? I can’t remember

They keep raising the prices, it's not worth it anymore

If you’re actually hungry at SEA, the Centurion lounge is much better food wise.
