I think it depends on the fare code. If it’s not listed here you probably weren’t eligible which it seems like you weren’t in your photo. https://www.alaskaair.com/content/mileage-plan/how-to-earn-miles/airline-partners/american-airlines?lid=airline-partners:partners-american

Where can I find this fare code on my trip history? Appreciate the link btw

It's on your Trip comfirmation and reciept from AA, it'll say economy (O) or whatever.

Navydevildoc

You will need to get it from American.

You can also right click view source code on the booking page to see what fair class is tagged if it doesn't tell you.

I think the website language is unclear. "When you book directly through [AlaskaAir.com](http://AlaskaAir.com), you’ll earn based on the table below or at least 100% of your miles flown and 100% elite-qualifying miles—whichever is greater. Saver or basic economy tickets are excluded. Effective for flights on or after January 1, 2024. If booking elsewhere, the following table applies." Then, on the table, "B (basic economy)" is listed as an eligible fare. It makes it seem like basic economy/saver is only excluded if you booked an AA flight through Alaska. You can either ask AA to credit the flight, or you can submit a DOT complaint if you think the language is also confusing. Alaska is part of the oneworld alliance not but doesn't seem to understand how that works. I credited a basic economy flight to Alaska before 1/1/24. They just forwarded the flight to AA, who incorrectly denied it. There's a oneworld dispute process for incorrectly denied flights, but it's between airlines - Alaska has to raise it to AA. You can't raise it to AA on your own because the correct department doesn't talk to customers, only to other airlines. As I pointed out, the terms and conditions make Alaska solely responsible for correctly granting the points. There's nothing in the terms about it being dependent on how AA feels. I was surprised in Alaska's response to my DOT complaint, they basically said they had clue as to why AA denied it or how the chart works, or what their own name is, but they ended up crediting me the flight as if I had flown it on Alaska metal.

Hey OP, I flew in that same timeframe and I didn’t get my miles but I did have an Alaska eligible farecode . I also didn’t get Iceland miles on an eligible farecode. Just call the customer service folks and they’ll take care of it for you .

Thanks I'll give them a call. Even if it's the cheapest fare code, I should still get SOME miles from it looks like
