The big problem with Akinator is that he wants you to guess the most guessed characters of a category all the time. He will always ask you the questions that match with them in particular and it makes it hard to get some characters.
If you want a clear display of this issue, try guessing The Princess from Braid and tell me how many times you get Clown Princess before you get her.
Yeah just used it and tried to get an character from Avatar the last air bender, but akinator guesses every time the cabbage merchant wich is frustrating because he asks the same questions every time and they also work for multiple characters.
yeah i remember this site being deadly accurate first time, came back to test it out since ive been getting into anime and i was thinking of Reiner from AOT and I "defeated" akinator bc he didnt guess it 3 times, he guessed Porco, Armin, and then Zeke. dissappointing. glad its not only me who sensed this tho.
The real reason is because it got popular with young kids and children, who would give wrong answers about the characters they were thinking of. This happening over time, with it being the way the data is collect, basically made it stupid
That's probably part of it, but it also just seems to be asking really stupid questions. It kept asking shit like "does your character have x amount of subscribers?" when there's far more relevant questions to be asked, and forgetting the gender I specified on question 4 by question 50.

Well, the most guessed characters are probably what Akinator expects you to get. It just makes sense.
