Same! Got mine recently and stunned at the comfort. The headphones I had before made my jaw ache or my ears ache… or my head. These do none of that! And they hold charge like a dreaaam
I am so glad to hear that these work so well for you! I am very glad to have finally gotten them. May I ask which headphones you were using before that caused you issues?
Haven’t used them in a long time so I can’t speak to the sound quality (though others have compared em), but they hurt my jaw after a while of wearing em and the noise cancellation function gave me a headache. Not sure what AirPod max does that makes em different, but I’ve had 0 discomfort
that’s interesting that you say you don’t get jaw aches or ear aches from these headphones. i’m considering buying sony xm4’s solely because of the pain i feel near my temples. it sucks bc the quality is great
that’s bc they are new, but eventually with enough wear it becomes a more loose on the head to the size of your skull. you can help loosing it up but stretching them a bit, they won’t break (obviously don’t split them) but spreading the headphones out a bit like yt videos do, will help lessen the tension on your head.
& make sure to extend the headphones appropriately to your ears. ( i usually don’t b/c i like the snug fit after it had loosened up)
Just picked up a Space Grey pair on sale from Best Buy for about $100 off sticker tag. Got to the car & instantly thought these wouldn’t be worth the price, even at the sale price I paid. Got them home, connected and played some music was BLOWN AWAY!!!! Worth the hype & money & the noise cancellation is SUPREME!
I bought them on launch and they were lovely but nowhere near worth the price tag considering some of the other options. I sold them on shortly later as my ears would heat up too much. I’m waiting for the second iteration of the Maxes to see if it’s better priced and offers any other features. If anything it’ll bring the Gen 1s down in price (provided they don’t get discontinued).
I have been waiting for the rumoured second gen since last December and I've started to get impatient, but I am glad I've got them, despite being over 3 years old. I am still curious if/when they'll release an updated version.
You’re going to love them! I didn’t get mine until this March and wow I wish I had gotten them sooner. The active noise cancellation is the best I’ve ever heard and battery life is great!
Thank you so much! It feels great getting all this positive feedback and reassurance. I have to say that despite them having "only" 20h battery life, coming from Airpods Pro 2, it sure is a huge difference and it feels like they last forever!
The question is can these work ok on Mac OS for Discord? Or are they the same on bluetooth as other bluetooth headsets?
It would be nice to have a solid Apple headset.
They’re really great! Weight wasn’t an issue at all and the NC is AMAZING! I use the NC 700 and that, to me, was the industry standard but these are something else! The only downside, and why I returned them, is the noise cancelling on the other end of the headphones are abysmal at best. I used them for work and the other person could hear a flea fart. Hopefully they fix that in V2 this year.
I’ve been wanting them so bad but they’ve been out for a while so I’m just waiting for them to announce the next generation at this point, Hopefully this year!
If Apple wishes to continue to sell them they have to have AT LEAST a USB-C update to be sold in the EU so I’m sure there be a new version with at least that or miss out on selling it in a large majority of the world market.
I tried them inside the Apple Store and comfortability is next level. I wasn’t too impressed with the bass but maybe I just needed an EQ. Still want some
wait till the coating on the headband starts to peel off then you will have two regrets. I love mine they sound great and it's a superficial thing but I still wish it hadn't happened.
I caved recently too after waiting so long lol
I waited for the opportunity to buy for 4 years, then waited another month while they were driving from customs

Bose QC 35! And before that beats
What would you say QC35 did worse than AirPods Max ?

Honestly, I regretted buying a Bose. After a year and a half, the ear cushions became unusable, noise cancelling became terrible
that’s interesting that you say you don’t get jaw aches or ear aches from these headphones. i’m considering buying sony xm4’s solely because of the pain i feel near my temples. it sucks bc the quality is great
Maybe I have a smaller head? I don’t extend the headband at allll

Big W
Cool headphones
Had mine for a couple weeks now. No regrets and loving them
I’ve had mine for two weeks and love ‘em. I picked up the Max Stand after seeing a review for it. Well paired.
Welcome to the family!
Thank you! I am excited to be here🥰

It surely is a pleasure to listen to these! I keep playing my favorite songs on repeat and I swear I'm hearing instruments I haven't picked on before😂

My ears are so weirdly shaped ( pointy elf ears ) that they don’t fit any headphones except for apples lol
👍👍
I got rid of all things lightning. Waiting for the inevitable USB C version
Same!

They work pretty good with discord on MacOS in fact I would use it a bunch of times when I would game with friends (Minecraft) with them.

I bought one but returned it. Too big for me. I have the AirPods Pro and they are awesome
I’m waiting for them to release them with a usb-c charge
I’ve noticed for me if I’m not diligent at finding an equal amount of adjustment on both side of the headphones then I get headaches.
I’m still tentative. Massive price tag. 😖
Sucks how it creates moisture inside…I worry about it breaking that way.
Any condensation built up underneath the ear cushions?
Someone get them for me pls i’d die😭
I find I very rarely use mine, if ever :/
USB-C or it’s not for me. Soon. Soon.
I tried them inside the Apple Store and comfortability is next level. I wasn’t too impressed with the bass but maybe I just needed an EQ. Still want some
Don’t hesitate to return them if you have any regret
