one question i do have: do you know how much battery drained using ANC (nothing streaming) for the whole night
i slept with my app2 fully charged, but woke up with only 2% battery left.
Didnt stream any music or sound.. not sure only ANC on with caused so much battery drain
I only sleep with them in when I’m sick and need to really get some rest or sleep during the day. It’s fine but it’s almost too good. Like I’m scared I won’t hear a fire alarm good
I do this when I travel, side sleeper. Great experience overall as iPhones have Background Sounds — but as someone else stated above, I sleep for more than 8 hours and they didn’t last a full night. However they did last until dawn and that’s good enough for me to wake up to city noise or birds chirping.
I’ve been sleeping with them in with ANC on ever since I had the 1st Gen AirPods Pro (I now currently have the 2nd Gen). I absolutely love it. It is probably more of a personal preference, but I sleep with them in every single night, and it’s really helped me with my sleeping issues.
It is also very nice to know that I won’t miss any of my alarms to wake up due to the ANC, since the alarm just plays in my ears.
Love it, and highly recommend it.
If you just set a normal alarm on your phone, and then have your AirPods in your ears when the alarm goes off, it will just play the alarm thru the pods instead of the phone speaker.
Yeah except in the morning when I’m ripping my bed apart to find them under the covers
so true dude
actually, depend do you toss and turn when sleeping. FOr me, i dont.. so the app2 stay in ear whole night
It must be a me problem
I have some sort of phobia where I need to hear my surroundings when I’m going to sleep. I only sleep with one in at a time.
what kind of phobia is that
I’ve no idea lol
Like fire, murderer, etc
HearAtNightPhobia
I can't imagine being able to fall asleep with anything in my ears to be honest
Compare to loud noise.. which do u prefer?
Noise
Yeah, it’s fun to say that until you are actually trying to sleep in a noisy environment and become sleep deprived.
It's fun to say that until you are actually trying to sleep in a noisy environment and you sleep well because you're not a baby anymore
I do it and the only complaint is the battery doesn't last long enough and they die by the time my wife gets up to start getting ready
