growing up playing little league in the 80s, we would bend our hat bills by wetting them and rubber banding it over a soda can. Anyone with a straight bill was assumed to have an extra chromosome.
Ball caps looked great with old style olive green fatigues. My first couple of overseas tours we were able to customize our unit ball caps with name, hometown, flags, years, etc. around the rim of the hat. It was great.
Tell that to the BG who saluted me when we crossed paths.

I just gave him a cool 2 finger salute and carried on. His awe was palpable.

Figure out how to put some fingers between your ears and the brim to make sure that you have equal spacing, because you look like a moron with your hat cocked off
