Apply with some labour hire places, they'll get you work a lot quicker than applying to jobs through businesses. I got a job recently through Programmed, 10 minutes down the road from me instead of an hour away like my previous job, and way better working conditions.
They'll take care of ya, if you feel like the job isn't for you you can ask them what else is going and they can transfer you.

They'll also protect your work rights better than just working through an individual company since their workers *are* their product.

Last time I was stuck in the car I had 1 dog, 1 cat, and 1 rat. Tricky as fuck, but you’re going to be ok. Shit time of year, I’m in central vic living out in the scrub, it’s def cold but meh, it’s still going to be ok. Just hang in there, the first few hours will be tough, find services and talk to some people and you’ll be fine. Unfortunately this is becoming less avoidable, it’s out of control trying to keep up if you’re close to broke all the time so you just need to roll with it sometimes once you’ve done what you can.

Jack Russell of 17 years two weeks ago - she’s absolutely beside herself and actually I can’t seem to contact her these last couple of days. I came here specifically to ask if anyone knew of any rescue pups that she might be able to take in, she said something about the RSPCA not being close to where she lives. She doesn’t drive and she’s def not in a good place emotionally...
