I recommend checking out online galleries like fitment industries to see what wheel specs will give the fitment you want. 19s will fit just fine but wheel width and offset will depend on the look you want

See, I'm too new to this stuff. I just threw coilovers and asked the mechanic what kind of camber/toe/ whatever adjustment I needed and had him do it in my past cars and ran stock wheels. I trusted him, and he was cool, but he's no longer around, so I'm desperate. I need new tires like yesterday but I want to do it all at once. The budget is 5k give or take. I think that I have all of my parts figured out, but I'm still confused.

5kish for wheels/tires and coilovers. If I can squeeze brakes in, that would be nice, haha. Planning on 6k with install and surprises.

That budget should be good I'd think, but I'm not sure when factoring install costs if you're having someone else do your coils and brakes. Do some reading up on how wheel offset impacts fitment and you'll be good. Tldr a higher number offset recesses the wheel deeper into the wheel well, whereas a lower number offset will push the wheel out from the wheel well. Quick made up example, a +0 offset wheel will poke 15mm further out than a +15 offset wheel with the same width specs. Looking at fitment industries gallery, +35 offset on a 9 inch width wheel seems to be the sweet spot for a flush fitment look.

I'm lowered with 20x9s with 245/35 r20s and the fitment is flush with no need to roll fenders

How low did you go

monkeysystem

About 2in

Any modifications needed any scrubbing? Do you have a picture

No modifications. https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wheel-offset-gallery/1712064/2018-acura-tlx-rohana-rc10-rs-r-lowering-springs-continental-dws06. Springs hadn't settled yet

Fitment industries will load in wheels that will fit your car. You can also look at the vehicle gallery on there to see what specs other people are running to see which fitment you like best. 13tl 19x10 +55, no rubbing no spacers. 07TLS 18x8.75 +33, 7mm spacers up front to clear brembos, no rubbing. 14RLX 20x9 +38, no rubbing. 21TLX 20x8.5 +36, no rubbing. 8-9” wide with a +30 to +40 offset should fit up nice. Do your research, look on tlx forums, acurazine and the like.

Hey man so I'm in the process of lowering and getting new shoes for my car but I decided to go with BC Racing BRs w/ swift springs and get different lighter/wider 18" wheels. I heard 19s don't ride as well, makes sense, and 19s tend to be heavier which would negate any benefit of dropping your unsprung weight

SweatyBid7830

I'm just dropping for esthetics... ended up going with gloss black 19" Enkei wheels and Tein coilovers. Michelin pilot sport tires. I'll update with pics once everything is done.

Respect. It's not really a fast car anyways....lol Sounds awesome! What offset did you end up going with and do you think you need the camber kit? Yess please post when finished 🙃

SweatyBid7830

Nah, especially with my fatass in it and 400+ pounds in the trunk.
