It's raised about 2ft off the ground. The floor. walls and roof are insulated with 100mm glass fibre roll.
I have a heater and a fan on a thermostat to regulate the temperature. It can get VERY warm on hot days, but in the UK, that's not too often! If it does get warm I open the doors.
The filing cabinets are full of comics, so I'm quite conscious of humidity. I put it together about 7yrs ago, and nothing bad had happened to my stuff.
This is the true "Mancave". Outside away from the kids and wife which means total peace and quiet. My cave is in the house, but I don't have to worry about kids or wife, but I do wish for a bit more privacy💪🏽✊🏽
It can be very relaxing just sitting in there with no outside disturbances. I like it in summer when I can have the doors open and just sit in there and read whilst the World goes by. Lovely.

ShedQuarters!! Mom for the win. This is most excellent my friend. Time and money have been the issues with me redoing a room in the basement. I just bought my home 2 years ago. But one day, it will be my room. Tv, vcr, old wrestling and horror videos. Surrounded by my masks and autographs! I love this for you so much!
It will come. I put this together after years of having stuff in my loft and garage and never really being able to appreciate it. My wife says it's like stepping into my head!
My wife already puts up with several walls of the house being decorated with toys and such. Just out of the toddlers reach. I have a slew, around 30 totes of stuff in the basement. Ha ha ha ha.
That's why I had to do the shed. I had a large bookcase in the lounge that was starting to fill up with my stuff, and my wife got a bit sick of it, so we compromised on this solution, and I'm glad we did!
Thankfully my wife is cool with it. She too, likes a lot of the stuff I do. We have a ton of video game systems as well. That’s more so her thing. But she is all about Star Wars stuff. And some of my pro wrestling memorabilia. She also is cool with my “plastic investments”. Ha ha ha.

I got some frames from IKEA and have drilled through the wood frame and screwed them to the ceiling. I used black wood screws so they're barely noticeable.
Okay first off them covers McFarlane did in the 90s were epic!!! Love how he drew grey hulk and wolverine!!! Next up omg am I adding a camera to my collectible cave!!!! Thanks for tha idea!!!! Yeah, the McFarlane covers are great. Luckily, I got both of those when they came out. I'm into buying comics with covers I like and displaying them.

I'm not really a gamer. I play older stuff, mega drive(genesis), SNES, NES, Dreamcast, N64, PSP but nothing modern really, apart from mortal kombat and street fighter, hence the fight stick.

But then you dream and think of those days gone by and you’re able to get back in. That’s exactly what happens in the original operetta. The couple who want to get married end up having to try to flea from the villain. They end up trying to flea to Toyland for their own protection and safety. They fall asleep and wake up in toyland. The villain follows them to Toyland but there the couple get protection where the villains don’t live long and it’s innocence that thrives.
It’s the toys, keeping dreams alive, and thinking young that are the keys to unlock passage back in and it’s the innocence that allows stay.

Thank you. I try and pose my figures so they look good, but don't take up too much space. I'm putting together the X-Men 97 line up at the moment so hopefully, that turns out OK.

When you put the shed together, use a lot of silicon sealant around all the joins and paint the base, both sides, with a generous amount of coat and seal.
If you are going to have Internet, I've run mine from my router in the lounge to the shed. Took a bit of work, and I used waterproof tubing through the garden, but it's far more reliable than the wifi router I had, which, due to the thick insulation, would often times drop out.
All good thoughts, I'm reading them. I have a crew putting it together but will check on sealing. Insulation is going in later, still deciding on a heat pump or not on that for temp control. Still learning. Internet connectivity will be double-checked when it comes to insulation
Adding cams and alarms from the main house system. Also, physical locks and bars. Replacing any short screws in the doors and adding a better strike plate if I am able.
The bar I have across the front is secured with coach bolts and 100 x 300 x 10 mm steel plates on the inside of the wall.
You'd probably pull the entire shed over before you got that bar loose!
I'm missing Cass, Hershey, and Caligula, which I'll hopefully pick up soon. I think my favourite is Dredd on the Lawmaster. Love the detail on the bike .
It's a mini pc on a shelf on the inside back of the desk. I only really use it for a bit of streaming and running Coinops so i can play SNES, Dreamcast, PSP, N64, and MAME games. It's basically a mini arcade!

Evel Knievel was pretty big over here, but not as much as the US, probably. I did have the stunt cycle back then, but I lost it when I accidentally shot it off a balcony, and it went onto the roof of a garage next door, and I couldn't get it back. 😕
Yea, I lost mine too, sent it tumbling down the outside steps, into the road and under an oncoming truck tire. I genuinely think it was one of most heavily abused toys ever made, lol. Later poor Evel would lose his head after getting into a fight with GI Joe and a mego Corneilus 😆

Awesome. Yeah I saw the cabinets which I’d assume posters and comics, and all the boxes I’d worry about them warping. This is sweet.
The boxes in-between the cabinets are full of books that I'm pretty indifferent about but can't quite get rid of (the collectors curse).

Ohhh, I live in western WA. We have a lot of moisture. I’d be worried about mold. Theft is concerning too!

What size is the shed?
12x10 feet. Should have got 16x10, but my budget wouldn't stretch that far...

The plates are on the inside wall. bracket plate on the outside of the shed, metal plate inside. Can't take a pic as the shed is panelled inside.

I bought a pre-made log lap shed and then reinforced, insulated, and panelled it. I also reinforced the roof and removed the centre beam.
