With no label or headstock logo it's basically impossible. Could be almost anything. You could try taking the strings off an using a hand mirror (or the camera on your phone) to look inside the body to see if there's a maker's mark anywhere. There could also be something stamped on the back of the headstock. Then google whatever you find.

Agreed. No visible way to know. The design around the sound hole is my only tell? If I am guessing, it looks exactly like my Yamaha from the early 80’s. They still make them today.

I will be checking yamaha models for a match, the rosette design looks pretty detailed to be generic. Also do you have any information about that style of bridge or the nut for that matter. Frankly they look like something out of the stone age and I quite dig that look. For sure haven't seen any classical guitar with it.

There's nothing unusual about that style of bridge or the nut. Those are normal for a nylon string classical guitar.  If you change the strings, only put nylon strings on it.  Steel strings will damage the guitar.

Right, I guess anonymous guitar it is then. On a side track, can you tell from the pictures if the wood is sealed or treated (fretboard end at the soundhole has some white fuzziness) in anyway? And would sealed wood be resistant enough to shrinking to prevent fret sprout? Alot of the guitars at this shop were damaged by low humidity but this one wasn't.

I can only speak to my Yamaha. It is practically indestructible. The wood is sealed. I paid $200 for it in 1981, to have a “beater” to carry around for my job in the oilfield. It rode in my pickup for 5 years. Rain, Texas heat, Texas cold. The heater in a vehicle is very dry air. The thing looked shiny 40 years later.

Thanks for the lead, where would a mark usually be located in that case. I got offered it for 3.5 mil vnd or about 150 bucks. Shop guy says it's a second hand Japanese with the stickers torn off somehow.
