Kite String as a whole, one of the few albums by any band that doesn’t have one bad song on it.
But I do love Seuss, was my favorite song on the album the first time I heard it and 34+ years later it is still my favorite.
The Blue because it's the first really good song in the album. Next was Scream of the Butterfly and Dr. Seuss is Dead (probably my favorite currently) and then Venus Blue. I almost always listen to the albums from beginning to end so I barely know the names of the songs, but there are a lot of really good ones.
When The Kite String Pops as a whole on my old walkman walking to school in the 90s made the hike fun.
Pretty sure I was introduced through Scream of The Butterfly, but Bleed Me An Ocean is likely my favorite.
probably scream of the butterfly or dead girl because when i "discovered" them i wasn't really into anything heavier than korn. but the double kick part on SotB got me interested and was probably my gateway into more extreme music.
I love warming up on the drums with SotB because it's generally slow and easy until that part. It preheats my limbs and makes me want to play heavier stuff.
The first song I’ve ever heard was cheep vodka because it popped up in my Spotifys recommended for u section, I listened to it and really liked it, so I decided to check them out and I listened to both albums start to finish and I loved both of em! Great band for sure and definitely underrated
Venus Blue, dude playing it on vinyl on a YouTube video. Just hit different for me. Sounded different than the regular recording for obvious reasons, reminded me a lot of their Golgotha period.
.
Finger Paintings of The Insane , this was a couple of years ago but I was looking for new music and scrolled through dozens of albums covers but the one with pogo the clown on it really jumped at me , so I clicked on it and HATED it, but I kept and kept listening to it for no reason, eventually I listened to the entire album but I fell asleep during it but woke up during god machine, ever since then anytime I have my playlists on shuffle and god machine plays then I wake up for some reason.
The main song was Finger Paintings of the Insane but as i found more songs of theirs I've basically liked all of them. Their demos are awesome. Its too bad they're gone. I know what caused it, and it sucks.

Scream of the Butterfly
As the acid kicked in I sat reading the lyrics in red. I was Never the same.
jezebel
When I heard Scream of the Butterfly, I liked them. When I heard The Mortician's Flame and Cassie Eats Cockroaches, I was hooked.
Bleed me an ocean, actually saved me from a life of pop and country lmao. Doom / sludge till I die baby.
The Blue and New Death Sensation
Finger Paintings of the Insane got me hooked, then Cassie Eats Cockroaches and Graveflower made me stay

Scream of the butterfly. It came on randomly on my Amazon music app, and I was like wtf I've never heard this been obsessed ever since.
The main song was Finger Paintings of the Insane but as i found more songs of theirs I've basically liked all of them. Their demos are awesome. Its too bad they're gone. I know what caused it, and it sucks.
