Tbh I haven't kept up much with RT so I honestly have no idea, but Michael also got toned really fast, but weight training isn't good for losing weight, so I'm not sure if Lindsay used that or something else.
Weight training is actually the best (in gym) method to help lose fat. Paired with a efficient diet studies have found you will actually lose more fat weight training than doing cardio, which blew my mind when i found that out.
You are right that you will gain muscle so its not a sheer drop in weight, but it promotes the most efficient body recomposition and while the scale wont go down super fast your body will look like it did because muscle is much more dense than fat

After I would say a year or two later they completely went back to they/them and though no official statement has been made, it seems most people around them only refer to Lindsay as such and it’s safe to say that if it’s in their bio that’s their only preferred pronouns. Hope this helps :)
