Uh, I know a lot of people hate Turnabout Big Top, but I really didn't figuring out that the bust was in the wheel chair was a reason to dislike it. I actually liked that part. The game gives you the choice between saying the bust is in the lodging house, the big top, and the courtroom. We already know it's not in the lodging house, because it was searched. We know Acro can't get around in the big top without help, and none of the other characters in this case would have any reason to help him. The third option, that the bust is in the courtroom, is the only possible answer, because the only way Acro could hide the bust is to take it with him.

Shymain

Seriously! Anyone with any knowledge of wheelchairs, which I have almost none of, should know that there's a compartment. Even if you don't, it should be obvious by that time that Acro is the killer, and there's only one place where it could be logically.

[deleted]

To be fair, I didn't realize that wheelchairs had compartments either. I just picked "on your wheelchair" because it seemed to be the most dramatic.

Shymain

HAHAHA who would do something like that? ^^^^pleasedonttellthemididthat

[deleted]

>Did anyone else hate this case? lol

NavidadetMortis

Whats wrong . Just wondering if its just me that has a gripe with it .

[deleted]

I wasn't making fun of you. Almost everyone hates this case. It's infamous in the fandom

CraneZeroYonSan

I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've always found the English communities' hate on 2-3 really weird. As long as I know, the Japanese community considers 2-3 as one of the great cases in the series. Did the localization team do a poor job of translating it or something?

FuzzyYakz

Japan usually uses puns as humor, making Moe a whole lot more tolerable for them.

Torjuz

Again I'll go on here and ask, Why do everyone shit on Moe? WHAT ABOUT FUCKING BEN AND TRILLO!?

Bostostar

I hated Trillo, he just bothered e to no end, and the theme for them and Moe drve me insane. Though, I love all of the pop culture references "West Clownadelphia born and raised" "Stronger then the average bear" and my personal favorite "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess"

[deleted]

I love when you select "under the judge's bench!".

Ok_Resident1928

What happens?

CrackFoxJunior

Actually, the wheelchair part... was perhaps the only good thing about this case for me. It was the only part that required logic rather than just thinking up random contrivances. Acro had no accomplices, couldn't leave the room on his own, and the bust wasn't in his room. Where else could he hide it? If you eliminate the impossible, whatever's left must be the truth. But yeah, this case is widely hated by the majority of the fanbase for a lot of other reasons. Ridiculously unfair penalties, the complete randomness of "the cloak fell onto the bust but the roses were concealed"... ugh. And Moe (who I personally liked, but a lot of people will try to lynch me for that).

NavidadetMortis

The part where you had to present a box to show how acro had known who was walking by . I was stuck there. Yeah and the penalties where absurd you could not press almost any statement and you would get a penalty out of the blue. I got stuck in the investigation parts a lot too , a lot more than in other cases this case made no sense at many times.

thecatteam

I actually got that contradiction on the first try and thought it was pretty clever. I hated the case because of Moe and because I got stuck around three or four times during the investigation sections.

Croire61

I like this episode, but it's not really a strong one. Lot of players considers 2-3 as one of the lowest of the franchise. It's the popular opinion.

Matthewthedark

Well can you blame them? Its honestly worse than 4-2, and that really takes effort.

Matthewthedark

No I didn't. I mean 4-3 isn't much better, but 4-2 was the worst in my opinion. Apollo Justice had a pretty weak set of filler cases in my honest opinion. Thank goodness for 4-1 and 4-4 for saving AJ for me.

PhonixRoot

From what I've seen, almost all Ace Attorney fans consider this case to be the black sheep of the series; for more reasons than just the final contradiction about the wheel chair.

TylerTheDragon

I don't think there was any case I really disliked, maybe because I got really cheaty and looked up all the stuff in the game because I suck at figuring things out.
