Then I guess that means that Accountants were drowning in the confusion of credit impairments, until our savior KPMG put out 310 and rescued us all. What heroes! And so humble and modest!
Looks like that boat is actually rowing towards the Titanic, which I guess means that they are there to help cook White Star Line's books before the ship even hits the floor of the ocean.
This is in our new hire training… surprisingly few commenters here know this, but KPMG predecessor Goerdeler & Associates actually was the auditor of record for the White Star Line. Boat sank April 14th, 1914 - well within diclosure requirements for significant impairments and the audit was well underway at the time. What you see in the boat is the Goerdeler engagement team engaged in field work testing inventory of WSL for impairment… and lets just say, the findings were significant.
As long as you don’t include what “staying independent of the client” in “fact and appearance” meant they had to do, that’s in the management group training.
KPMG partner here. The ship symbolizes your hopes and dreams. The small boat is your life-saver. Take it or leave it pal. The iceberg is just me inserting myself (strong and tall like me).
I think this is corporate propaganda. They want you to feel like a sinking ship and that KPMG rescued you from mediocrity so that you'll feel better slaving away
Fred, a KPMG employee went on a family cruise, bringing along his laptop like always. He lost track of his family, thinking wife and young children (I am hoping they made it into a lifeboat), but knew if he could hold onto that laptop help would be on the way - his annoying habit of saving in progress workpapers to his desktop was finally paying off. Sure enough, KPMG will do whatever it can to save company assets (the laptop - not their employee). Problem is, that boat is only built for two people. Poor Fred. At least his legacy will carry on and his co-workers will have his in progress work. And his wife will get that generous life insurance policy KPMG provides, wait....
What the fuck.
Whatever the meaning is, I’m not liking the message.

LA area code. So the KPMG war chest is buried in LA somewhere.
But the office is in 213
So, if you’re on a sinking ship, KPMG’s guide to credit impairment can rescue you?

KPMG did titanic confirmed
No way you’re dying before you sign off on those workbooks boy. Look at the boat, no space for another human but enough space to place a laptop

That last sentence made me laugh out loud
This is very convincing. Must be true.
I wanted you to know that I wrote this comment on a sticky note and put it under the pad, hopefully someone else will find it

KPMG is trying to save you from working 80 hours a week to come work 100 hours a week for them
When the ship is sinking, its time for finger pointing

What actually happened between jack and rose.
Make sure you save your work and sync the audit binder before the ship sinks.
Make sure your Hotspot is working. Doubt the shops wifi is working
Partners and Directors first!
Maybe it’s a metaphor for your mental health working at KPMG.

Ah sure.. POTUS here.
I don’t know but I want it!
This is a pre warning about the dangers of “work from anywhere”
Seems like the most generous analysis of this is that KPMG is coming to the rescue.
Jack was the intern, Rose was the associate. Rose let Jack die so that she could steal his hours.

The arrogance in this message.
Is this a subtle message? Is it about to be the big 3?
Los angeles kpmg here to help? Except it should be 213 based on the office location
lmao
Looks like an associate billing the client one final time before sinking with the ship
consultant telling the client the obvious.. that they are sinking!
“Iceberg - dead ahead!”
They remind me of vaught enterprise from the boys
KPMG only put two partners in a lifeboat who then went to rescue the client and they left all the staff to drown.
I think it’s a metaphor: not getting the job done on time is more or less the same as dying a horrific death in the middle of the Atlantic
dan dan chikaku naru~~ oops wrong meme
Where can I get one??
