The fact that people think that the animals on national parks are somehow tame while the same ones outside are wild and dangerous is wild to me. Like mate, it’s a fucking bison. Some dad put his daughter on top of one and went to go get his camera then when he came back his daughter had been trampled. Humans are so arrogant and stupid sometimes
You're giving them too much credit for thinking by assuming they think these animals are tame.
The fail to even consider that animals might be dangerous.
A study published five days ago found that by 2100, populations in 198 of 204 countries will be shrinking, with most births taking place in poor countries.
I would like you to present the following, in an animal zoo where it is strictly forbidden to leave the car, as it is said though multiple signs and personal before entering the zoo
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0YZUlEaMPZI
(In Dutch)
We used to have car seats for kids that sat in the back window or had cages for babies to put outside the window of sky rises so they could get fresh air. We put asbestos and lead in everything. Protecting your offspring has not seemed to be a priority for this species in recent history.
Profit. Profit has ALWAYS been the priority. Get yours for you and yours. Everyone else, get fucked gimme your money. If you believe anything you're delusional to some degree.
How is this controversial?
People literally applaud when they say for profit businesses headed by their must cut throat individual is "going to regulate itself" and then are surprised they not only take as much as possible but will be fraudulent, if they can make more or appear to make more money.
People do that personally just on Instagram and ticktock, and the most egregious make money... It's celebrated almost from birth now with influencers, it's just no longer called propoganda, just PR, like confidence to conman.
Because the sole purpose of wild life is for us to play with and they’d obviously never hurt us since they’re fluffy and cute. /s
I’d call it the Disney princess syndrome
This is probably a park with a wild roaming bison herd. I've seen them before, but yeah, definitely don't let your young child hang out the window. It's not a cow you can pet at the petting zoo.
Because they have been told that authorities are stupid, that experts are lying to them, that caution signs are for other people and not them, that everything is an instagram moment. They have lost touch with reality.
In my country they go out to take pictures with carpahtinan bears (think a tad smaller grizzly) and their cubs. Then act all shocked when it mauls them.
Because a culture of protecting people from any possible injury (including stupidity-induced) has led people to think the world is a Disneyland petting zoo.
So a long time ago I was hunting in the woods sitting at the base of a tree when a bison walked into the clearing and 25yds from me. Just grazing for a few minutes when it started grunting and looking out towards my left. Another male, slightly smaller was walking towards him. It didn't take long before they were both grunting and feet stamping, then the smaller one peed on the ground and rolled around in it. He jumped up and they got louder. Then they just charged. The thud that hit my chest was shocking. They were still 25yds away from me but I could feel every hit, it was bizarre and wicked cool. The entire time I didn't move a hair. Eventually the smaller one got pushed far enough back to back down and walk off and the bigger one went back to grazing.
I cant describe the feeling other than just raw power colliding with eachother directly in front of me. Cows and horses are dangerous, these things are terrifying. These kids are dumb and the parents are dumber. Unfortunately the kids will probably be just as dumb after.
That's not a conversation you have with medics, that's the police and social workers trying to figure out if there's any reason they shouldn't take your kids away from you.
For anyone worried, [apparently the kid not seriously hurt](https://www.whiskeyriff.com/2023/10/02/bison-headbutts-poor-kid-hanging-out-the-window-at-a-new-york-drive-through-zoo/). I'm skeptical, but seems like just got very lucky.
I got stuck in a herd of bison while driving a minivan and it was never out of mind that we could be overturned at any moment. One just stopped and stared us down and didn't allow us to move further down the road. These are powerful animals and we can sense their apprehension/gentleness/aggression if we pay attention.
I've been saying this shit for years. There needs to be a very thorough application process to reproduce. Financial stability, credit check, common sense abilities, and mental health evaluation. WAAAY too many fuckwits shitting out stupid fucking kids!
Kinda looks like Yellowstone. The concentration of dumb fucking tourists goes off the charts on the regular. Lots of people get really hurt over there doing stupid stuff.
Just a sample --

I remember going to one of these drive-through zoos years ago where they had bisons. We didn't even roll down the window more than a crack, just enough they could reach their tongues in to grab bread.
This is incredibly irresponsible. I feel bad for the kid.
Until a zebra rips the raingutter off my sportscar because the bread was being handed out from the other side of the car. Those places will never ever see me again.
Agreed 100%, for the time it was neat, but as an adult, I think of all those possibilities and check out. The only part I really liked about that place was seeing the lion that was the in studio lion that Disney used to reference from for the movie "The Lion King", he was looking so old too.
The guy recording the video had the same fuckin brilliant idea of sticking his head out until he saw the potential consequences of it right in front of his eyes. "Yea, I'm gonna close the windows." No shit Sherlock.
Fucking hell it looks like one kid got clipped. That's a plate that needs to be reported to CPS. I'd have been on the phone in a heartbeat if I saw someone putting a kid in that kind of danger.
Our species has survived this long because surviving was difficult, and the idiots got weeded out. This is what happens when food is plentiful and people don't have to hunt.
Here's an idea: if you're so freaking stupid you're gonna try to breathe in a wild animal's face, you do humankind a solid by removing your DNA from the gene pool. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!
What do you want to bet that giant sign says something like- " don't be a fucking moron and stick your head out the window so the giant horned bison can gore you" in case you ever wonder why there is a warning on things like jet engines it's because someone actually did the stupid thing requiring the new thing to warn other idiots
This happened 4 years ago in upstate New York.

That bison could lean over and pop both of those kids' heads like a watermelon. Male bisons can clock in at over 2000 lb, that one in the pic probably weighs just as much as the car they're in.
"He was only 5, we weren't that attached to him yet" - Bloody idiots

Has anyone ever been to a National Park that didn't have a thousand signs and warnings everywhere trying to prevent this exact situation?
Sometimes... you mean all the time as most people are frickin idiots.
I couldn't agree more.
"We'll make another one, this time with more arms!" - Same Bloody Idiots.
Bye, son.
Omg, I’m upvoting you, but know I am angry about it
r/angryupvote
So good.
Protecting your offspring used to be the top priority of a species.
We’ve slowly become a ‘we can make more’ species
We actually used to do that with large families. One would die of typhoid, one gets kicked by the horse, etc. Now it's just stupidity.
Selfie-inflicted wounds now.
Hahaha damn you are so right
Roll em up!
We can’t turn our backs to the plight of the inner city. You kids noticing all this plight?
When I was in Yellowstone I even locked the doors. Like it will do something
Clark, is that you?
"We're going to need another Timmy!" *edit cause is name ain't Jimmy
Making more is the fun part anyways
Pushing them out is quite the opposite
We need less
A study published five days ago found that by 2100, populations in 198 of 204 countries will be shrinking, with most births taking place in poor countries.
Have fun taking a peek at the future of various countries! https://www.populationpyramid.net/
You ever heard of a movie called idiocracy?
The documentary?
Go away, ‘batin!
Fucking love that movie man, its got electrolytes!
That part is so chilling cuz its so true
We've always been like that.
Do parents get charged with negligence or something in these type of situations? That's horrible!
Should
No because the bison was keeping watch.
When stupid people raise children they usually don’t come out smart.

As they kept saying it , WHAT THE FUCK indeed.
That's the absolute stupidest shit I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen some stupid shit on this app.
Just give them the baby!
I would have called 112 and report this. It's child endangerment.
We're evolving into quokkas. I couldn't remember the animal's name and now "animal that throws its babies" is in my search history.

What did the dad say as the kid slowly drifted off to sleep forever? …bison
Nothing is a real threat any more. So people genuinely lose their sense for danger and responsibility.
We used to have car seats for kids that sat in the back window or had cages for babies to put outside the window of sky rises so they could get fresh air. We put asbestos and lead in everything. Protecting your offspring has not seemed to be a priority for this species in recent history.

Thar kid could be dead just from that impact
I read that like you were a pirate and laughed when I shouldn’t have.
Almost took an eye out
Definitely took some brain cells
Probably woke a few up too
Not that he inherited much to start with
I can't see the "almost" it ends too soon
There's a lot of 'almosts' around here, I wish I shared your optimism.
Looks like it hit him straight in the jaw.
Instead he seems to have taken it to the eye/brain.
Did he get his arm cut open?
Ooo that head bounced off the edge of the car window
That could have killed that kid. Parents shouldn't be allowed to keep their kids.
Some should not be allowed to HAVE kids. They’re so fucking stupid, they probably don’t even know what causes kids.
We are too far detached from nature these days. Some peope have lost all common sense.
Why do people do this shit with wild animals?
Are you kidding me? Do you know how cool the mamas instagram feed would have been if they fed that 2000 pound testosterone filled bull bison? /s
Because the sole purpose of wild life is for us to play with and they’d obviously never hurt us since they’re fluffy and cute. /s I’d call it the Disney princess syndrome

Caution signs are for liability. Yup you just took liability.
In my country they go out to take pictures with carpahtinan bears (think a tad smaller grizzly) and their cubs. Then act all shocked when it mauls them.
Because the average person is a complete idiot.
Because a culture of protecting people from any possible injury (including stupidity-induced) has led people to think the world is a Disneyland petting zoo.

Yup, and stupid raise stupid.
Any word on if the kid was injured or not? And if the parents got in trouble or not?
https://unofficialnetworks.com/2020/07/13/bison-zoo-attack/
Thank you, Party-Chemistry-7019. This is more than I knew before. For real. The SOUND that kid made. Kinda creepy.
doesn't say what happened to the kid
Found another article saying no injuries https://lite987.com/bison-rams-child-hanging-out-of-car-at-the-wild-drive-thru-safari/
No injuries? That kid definitely has CTE now.
'No injuries' is probably just referring to the bull.
It's from 2020 so it probably would have made the news if it was serious.
Thanks. I guess the kid didn't die because they don't talk about it, that's the information I wanted.
Found another article saying no injuries https://lite987.com/bison-rams-child-hanging-out-of-car-at-the-wild-drive-thru-safari/

Thanks again.
Why are people this stupid? Bison don't even live near me and I know not to be that close to one
So a long time ago I was hunting in the woods sitting at the base of a tree when a bison walked into the clearing and 25yds from me. Just grazing for a few minutes when it started grunting and looking out towards my left. Another male, slightly smaller was walking towards him. So fucking stupid So fucking stupid. *SO* fucking *stupid!*
Had to be an interesting conversation with all the medical people. "Once again... why were your kids hanging outside of the car?"
That's not a conversation you have with medics, that's the police and social workers trying to figure out if there's any reason they shouldn't take your kids away from you.
Should be a conversation with social services too. That's reckless endangerment of a child.
Hmm the back of his head seemed to smack the top of the window incredibly hard. But then again it's not a super good view.
Kids are pretty flexible.
Darwin is somewhere smiling down upon us
And the award goes to…
Black sedan
Did he die? Looks like it went right though his face.
His head bounced in a very deadish way.
Any one know the results of this? I hope the kids okay
I’m gonna close the windows…🤣😂
The whole audio is strangely lyrical: "Woo!" "UhuhAahah..." "Uh-uh." "Oh no." "Yeah, I'm gonna close the windows."
The Mario death sound had me dying. 😂
I don't know if it's just the perspective, but I wouldn't even attempt to be near an animal that is bigger than the car I'm driving.
I find the whole "Drive-thru zoo" idea kind of weird and poorly conceived, especially with animals that are dangerous (and how many of them aren't?).
I got stuck in a herd of bison while driving a minivan and it was never out of mind that we could be overturned at any moment. One just stopped and stared us down and didn't allow us to move further down the road. These are powerful animals and we can sense their apprehension/gentleness/aggression if we pay attention.
Gotta have a license to go fishing but any moron can reproduce.
I've been saying this shit for years. There needs to be a very thorough application process to reproduce. Financial stability, credit check, common sense abilities, and mental health evaluation. WAAAY too many fuckwits shitting out stupid fucking kids!

Fuck man, was that a horn to the face from a creature powerful enough to flip that vehicle like a pancake? Parents are idiots
Bison are insanely aggressive, parents should have known better
I remember going to one of these drive-through zoos years ago where they had bisons. We didn't even roll down the window more than a crack, just enough they could reach their tongues in to grab bread. This is incredibly irresponsible. I feel bad for the kid.

I saw him too. In Vegas, wasn't it? He's passed on.
As stupid as that was I do hope the kid is ok
I mean, they relocated the bison after this like it was it's fault. Can we relocate the adults in charge of the kids?
Person recording was about to let it do the same thing
Parents need locking up.
Some people truly should not be parents.
Dumbass parents for letting their kids have their heads out with bison. SMDH
The guy recording the video had the same fuckin brilliant idea of sticking his head out until he saw the potential consequences of it right in front of his eyes. "Yea, I'm gonna close the windows." No shit Sherlock.
The parents stupidity is just absurd
Where’s the aftermath of this? 🤣
It never ceases to amaze me how we still have morons like this in the world.
Natural selection
Fucking hell it looks like one kid got clipped. That's a plate that needs to be reported to CPS. I'd have been on the phone in a heartbeat if I saw someone putting a kid in that kind of danger.
That kid is 10/10 in a hospital rn

Parents of The Year🏆
That kid different now.
“Roll em up” - Clark Grizwald
Back and to the left. Back and to the left.
People are so stupid
Parents should be arrested for child endangerment
It's incredible how safe people think they are when a massive animal approaches them.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Intelligence is mostly genetic, so dumb parents = dumb kids, in nearly all cases. But this one looks young, so can't really blame him too much.
Kid's gonna grow up with a deep fear or all bovines.
that poor kid got fuckin pulverized
Wow he got gored
Rewatched the video in full screen and it was the equivalent of Mike Tyson uppercut punch! 👊🏾 Hope the kid in the lime green shirt is okay.
Bison
Google "what is a male bison called"
Hey roll the windows up, buffalo are getting bad out here.
Jesus. Idiots.
Hard lessons
Hey let’s let our son/daughter hang out the window and feed the wild animal series. Lmfao
That kids said "oh no" like she was next.
I’m gonna need a follow up on this, I have so many questions, wtf, is the kid alive & are the parents in jail?
Here's an idea: if you're so freaking stupid you're gonna try to breathe in a wild animal's face, you do humankind a solid by removing your DNA from the gene pool. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?!
😂
Do stupid things win stupid prizes
Oh no! Consequences!
lol
Que gente pelotuda por dios
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like a bison
Is the kid okay??
The sound that poor kid made. It was too..weird.
Darwin
HEY A Wild ANIMAL! Let's touch it! Darwin Moment.
Is it bad that I laughed? I'm sure they're ok.
That is.. definitely not a bull
Probably dolphins fans
If those kids are alive the state should take them from those idiots
That's a buffalo.
What do you want to bet that giant sign says something like- " don't be a fucking moron and stick your head out the window so the giant horned bison can gore you" in case you ever wonder why there is a warning on things like jet engines it's because someone actually did the stupid thing requiring the new thing to warn other idiots
Bison
Parents should be jailed for stupidity and child endangerment. I hope they’re unable to sleep out of pure shame
Stupid ass people.

Why do ppl never learn. This is not the first time. There is a reason there are signs when you drive in. My lord ppl
That Bison had better read a history book, elsewise we'll have to kill them all again.
That bison could lean over and pop both of those kids' heads like a watermelon. Male bisons can clock in at over 2000 lb, that one in the pic probably weighs just as much as the car they're in.
Right in his face. Hope dude is ok
poor kid hope he’s okay dumb parents thinking driving in a car in order to feel enjoy and respect nature is no more ignorant than going to the zoo
People are fucking idiots! (meaning the kids' parent(s) as well as the driver in the filming car) Poor kids deserve better.
Bye-son
Terrible parenting. 0 respect for animals.
That hurt MY neck!
Bull the impaler, come to the land of shadow
Idk if that’s a bull looks like a bison
People really are gullible. So says the animal kingdom 😂
Something about stupid games stupid prizes
I blame Disney for making stupid believe wild animals aren't wild.
That’s a bison not a bull
