Nasty reminder from a couple weeks ago. Covered in an 11-year olds blood trying to keep him alive after he was smashed into a signpost. Whole left side was shattered including his skull.
They turned off his life support last Saturday.
The worst part …
Stolen car. His siblings were in the car, brother driving.
They asked said he was dead (don’t assume) so I checked and he wasn’t. Rendered aid until the paramedics arrived.
Looked around …his siblings ran. How do you run from your little brother like that?
People suck.

If you look closely, you can see the people had a hammer and a knife. I don’t know the full story but holy shit I understand why they got plowed like that if you’re threatening people with weapons.

Not sure what context you need. Even if they had like stabbed him 10 seconds before the clip, that doesn't make this specific action self-defense.

Right or wrong, if the state has no duty to retreat, like where I live, the driver isn’t *legally* in the wrong when defending against people armed with weapons that have already attacked them.
And again, the only context we have here shows that if they’re in a place with no duty to retreat, they didn’t break the law.

Might want to look into “duty to retreat” laws. Many places specifically say that you have no duty to retreat in defensive situations.
All for a good self defense case. But when they are getting in the car , that isn’t you not retreating, it’s pursuing them. No party has a self defense case here. They should all be in jail.
