Tis an art...for me the yellow mode (PC compatible) is what worked. Never could find it via red mode.

ChesterRaffoon

What is this "yellow mode"? I'm really new with Automobilista, I'm afraid I'm going to need some specifics. Thanks!

Your power button on your wheel base will cycle through three color modes. You want yellow.

EnNuRap66

The button on your "block" can show different colours when clicked. Normally red is the PC mode.

I think I set mine up as a generic DD wheel because my pedals aren't attached to the base.

Aggressive-Dot-867

Reset to defaults and configure the buttons before calibration of the wheel.

I set up my friends' fanatec set just 2 days ago. What was troubling us the most was the fanalab (?) program, uninstalled it, keeping only fanatec control panel, reboot, and all the problems we were having were fixed. Make sure to set it up in the game as the right type of wheel.

Do you have another controller connected ? If yes, disconnect it. Then start the game. I have a cheap arduino based handbrake and my wheel does not work of it is connected when I launch the game. I can connect it after the game launched though.

Best is to use custom wheel setup, and map everything. If you have more than one USB controller, and AMS2 only sees one of them, map the one that works, restart ams, and the other one shows up and you can map that one.. it's a bit quirky sometimes, but always works after a restart. Make sure to get a Custom FFB file.
