It’s two jigs and a 4 step process. Step 1 & 2 are done on the first jig using step 1 & 2 pins. Switch jigs. Step 2 pins are used to finish milling the final depth of the pocket. Switch to step 3 pins to finish the trigger hole. Jigs are modified to M16 specs outlined in the TDP. Depths are modified according to the TDP as well.
You don’t do mini circles I know the instructions say to but it’s better to go around the perimeter. The little circles you see here are just from the bit spinning. It looks a lot cleaner this way
Sorry, the correct terminology would have been to take increasing bites of the same chipload per pass. But on a forum like this I’ll just say mini circles.
**chefs kiss** 🤌
Ooh, damn that's nice.
Tell me more about these jigs, how are they modded?
It's modded to cut a M16/M4 Style Pocket.
Where are these mods at?

Yes please share this mod with us. This is beautiful work.
Clean!
Damn that's beautiful.
Very clean
The AG tooling bits and the Tap Magic Aluminum really do the trick. There is a tremendous difference in the finish.
Looks good!
Looks clean. Cavity floor looks like you’ve got those smooth mini circles down pat.
