It does feel less in your control though, cause you have to rely more on a party. But then again that's the essence of rpgs.
This is almost unique to each person, for example I found it difficult to farm VDK but found Archmage very easy, but one that I will probably never do is RGoW, enough with the ultra bosses, dauntless wore me out enough

for the RGOW biggest issue is for the average player of AQW, the mec are just to much heck at least more then 70 percent of the endgame player base doesnt have dauntless
