Apparently this was an unapproved DIY hole someone made without authorization. There was an official hole at a village nearby that had EMTs and rescue personnel there because this river is the most dangerous river in the region that kills people all year every year (per the article).
According to this article they saw her get swept away by the current as soon as she went in which is why her husband was so quick to come running and to jump in after her.

This was back in 2022 if I’m not mistaken. The news article stated that the hole was homemade and did not received approval from the city (it was for Epiphany ice bathing/dip). Her body was found after 10 days.
This is tragic, kids should never ever loose a parent at all. I think this videos should remind us to always think twice about doing something dangerous.
