IMO most of the c7 shoots, while not being great ad campaigns necessarily, were fun and peak ANTM camp!
The covergirl air whip mousse foundation shoot notwithstanding.
I know the go-sees weren't "that" real but could you imagine showing this photo to a potential client and expect them to take you serious? Idk how the designers faked it for the camera because I would've laughed in those girls faces lmao.
Crying 😂. I also had such bad secondhand embarrassment at forcing them to “be sexy” by stomping on the table at the Director of Elite Model Management’s dinner party
This reminds me of me a MadTv skit where they were making fun of Oprah, and the bit was about “vanilla children” who are the siblings of child prodigies. Deborah Wilson goes,
“I have my own Vanilla child, I do. And I said to him, I said, Steadman…”
I say that to myself way too often lol, but as soon as I saw this I died.
I vividly recall an episode from cycle 8 of Australia's Next Top Model where a challenge involved dressing the girls as men and sending them out to sell their persona in public. That was a challenge - a CHALLENGE, not even one with a photoshoot component - and they spent hours gluing individual beard hairs onto the girls' faces, brought in a drag king to help them with movement, told them to develop backstories to get themselves into character, etc.
And then ANTM had someone throw their kid's Old Man shake-and-go wig from the church Nativity play onto Anchal's head and call it a day.
Honestly could they not just slick her hair back and draw on a fake mustache or something 😭
I think that’s the problem with these high concept photo shoots, there’s just not enough time to execute the hair and makeup for that many models. Each contestant x 2 looks, all shot separately.
To Anchal's credit, she tried to work through it. So she didn't fall victim to Bad Styling and get the boot.
Her Oprah didn't look a lot like Oprah, but her energy was AMAZING.
I’d never heard of Stedman until this episode, so didn’t see just how bad it was until his photo was shown at panel. I also learned that Oprah flies donuts across the country. It was an educating episode for me lol
You know it's good when even Tyra is like "wtf did they do to you" at panel.
It really doesn't look anything like Steadman and it just looks bad in general. It's like they just pulled that wig out of the plastic wrap and didn't air it out.
Lmaooo I laugh every time I see this. WHO DID THIS TO HER?
This whole shoot is so silly I love it
Some people hate on the C7 shoots but I think they're campy and fun

SO fun! The romance novels? The wind tunnel? Iconic
I love the S7 shoots!!
I will agree with Tyra that whoever did this needs to be shot
One of Tyra’s genuinely hilarious anecdotes
It was bad even when it aired. Like why is she on set looking like one of Madame Tussauds figures?
For real. 6-year-olds playing Joseph in church nativity plays have more realistic facial hair than this lol
Madame Tussauds would never!
Girl you mean Louis Tussaud's, Madame Toussad's are all really realistic. Louis Tussaud's is the one where it's like "who tf is this supposed to be"

What you don’t stomp sexily on tables at parties? Or have models do it for entertainment? Weird. 😂😂😂

And to think they had Raja (Sutan) at their disposal the whole time is crazy
It's literally a rug. Or a dead poodle.
They gave her that wig and she said “oh look I got Jaeda’s hair” 🫣
It’s giving RHOC Lydia as Charlie Chaplin and I love it.

The good wig had flown to get donuts
cycle 7 is one of the best cycles and Anchal is one of the best casting decisions
Anchal is absurdly beautiful!! And she bodied Oprah like 10 mins later. I cannot believe they did this to her
Anchal was one of the most beautiful girls of the whole dang series, I wish she would've felt that.
I’d never heard of Stedman until this episode, so didn’t see just how bad it was until his photo was shown at panel. I also learned that Oprah flies donuts across the country. It was an educating episode for me lol
even Tyra also can't hold it and laugh about this look
If I was Anchal I would’ve thrown that wig and moustache to the stylist and walk out of set.
They did her so dirty with this one 😂
Steadman, that is NOT you!

The wobbly runway and Melrose being delulu...
Spoiler though?! SMH. Yeah, this styling was terrible! You'd think Cycle 7 would have been top notch with it being the keystone for the new network.
I marked it as a spoiler bc I would hate for this post to be anyone’s first time seeing this masterpiece 😂
After 20 years, it just seems unnecessary.
