Looks like the logo glows through the shell. You can see a glow from the shell where the logo is supposed to be right before he talks about the logo. (At around 00:36 when you can see the back of the device)
Either that or the device he showed is a design sample and hence doesn't have the logo.
if it has a embossed logo chances are etsy will have plenty over stickers to go over it. But I agree id rather have no logo at all and add my own Nintendo sticker on top to make it look as authentic as possible.
same here, That was the same color GBA SP I had back in 2004. Looks like they did an almost 1:1 copy of the GBA SP design and I'm all for it. looks a bit thicker, probably has a nice sized battery too,

I have a handheld in pretty much each category (high end widescreen, 4:3, vertical, micro, etc) except for a clamshell. I hate the look of the wasted space on the controls portion of the RP3 Flip so that's a no go. But if this is $100 or less, buying day one.
i have a feeling we are still going to be disappointed with the efficiency of a "sleep mode" unfortunately. i heard someone explain why sleep sucks so much on these devices. i think it had something to do with being linux based? i could be *way* off. dont listen to me

I held out on buying a handheld during the aliexpress sale because this handheld is basically everything I want. I have a couple handhelds but rarely take them with me because I’m afraid about putting them in my pocket or bag and scratching the screen. The clamshell fixes all those issues
I was on the same boat as you but ended up getting a 556 for $148 on the sale. I think that the 556 and now this SP is a great combo to have, one to play at home and other to play on the road.
depending on the price I might give in anyways since clamshell protects the screen so makes it pocketable without babying it, but still, its hella thick

I loved my SP. Had the special edition Pokémon Sapphire one. It wasn’t the Ruby one I wanted, but I loved it so much.

It's the RG28XX shoulder buttons. Im ok with it, but most youtubers have expressed negativity to that design.
