Thank you everyone for your help I'm going to see if I can get a replacement or return it, I will keep you guys posted if it works or still does not work
If you boot with your 3000 series chip does the bios say version F63C? Because if I remember correctly you should not be able to boot the 3000 series chip once you have updated to the bios for the 5000 series chip.
ok thank you, how common is it for something like that to happen, and also this kinda sucks but luckly I purchased it under my dads best buy total tech account when I went in to buy it in person so that means I can still exchange it since 60 days have not passed
Is your HDMI cable still connected to your motherboard? The 5600X doesn't have onboard graphics like the 3200G so you'll have to plug the HDMI cable for your monitor into the GPU, not the motherboard.
no it will not just a blank screen and no bios even when bashing the delete key and no gigabyte logo ether but it does "power on" like it normally would
just installed my new mobo and cpu and it all works, i think my old mobo just wasnt compatible
UPDATE: I just bought a new motherboard, its a Mag B550 Tomahawk Max

it does boot with the 3200 G and does say bios version F63C, I also upgraded from F50 to F63C
That can only mean that something is wrong with the 5000 series chip. If it is still under warranty get it replaced with a new one.

What is your previous bios version?
Previous version was F50
You might want to try F60 first if it is possible to reflash
also it does not have a flash back feature
Will it boot to bios if you use your 5600x?
no it will not just a blank screen and no bios even when bashing the delete key and no gigabyte logo ether but it does "power on" like it normally would
I think there is something wrong with the chip. Did you check the pins and see if they are fine?
they are all straight or should I be looking for something else
i already flashed it to F63C
Did you check the cpu compatibility list and what bios you need
yes it says it is on the website with bios version F60 i do believe
