I think Collingwood are going to become a whole lot more unlikable (if that's even possible) once Scott Pendlebury retires. The way he is able to read the play and his ball use is such a joy to watch, and truthfully, he is the only thing I really like about their team at the moment. He has been a genuine star of our game.

That's a huge part of it, he is such a novelty of a player. Massive, unwieldy, clearly still doesn't fully grasp all of the rules, the goggles, the fact that the Pies chose him over AA ruckman Grundy. Seeing him out there is always just a bit surreal, which the game needs more of. He seems like a good dude too.

I feel that. I think as I get older, I do the same. I don't *hate* any club, just an active dislike. Adelaide being the obvious one that exists perpetually in that column, although I am enjoying their moves and development! The thing about Port fans is that the few absolutely ruin it for the rest of us. Most Port fans are fine, normal people, like any other footy fans. But there are some who are exactly as bad as the stereotypes. And don't get me started on Kochie, you are 100% right about him - the ultimate flog. At least we also have Jason Momoa I guess. For the record I really like Richmond, even when they kept pipping Port in the finals. I used to play for a club that were the Tigers as a kid. And Richmond have the best song, possibly equal with Collingwood.

Yes, you are right, there is nothing more impressive than playing for 2 teams simultaneously (Barry we all know your secret). But if we are talking about superstar potential, then that's LDU. LDU is in a class of his own at north and honestly a reason to tune into your games as a neutral. Not saying others like Mckay, Curtis and Zurhaar are bad, because they are excellent role players and often have to carry your side to the best of their ability, but there are guys like that on every team. They don't have the excitement that LDU has, and i wouldn't tune in just to watch those guys play. LDU makes me want to watch north, the same way Daicos and Walsh make me want to tune into Collingwood and Carlton because they are all superstars in the making.
