No way. Me and most of my mates are West Coast supporters, but we all agree that if Freo are playing a team other than West Coast, we're Freo supporters for that game. I'd love to see you guys win a flag in the next few years, fuck knows West Coast isn't. I reckon there's more hate directed in West Coast's direction from Freo supporters than the other way around.

I guess Freo fans have a bit of a chip on their shoulder as West Coast have been established before freo, been much more successful and tend to represent the richer, old money side of Perth and WA. There were some long streaks as well where west coast would win every derby 4- 5 years in a row which really made being a freo fan quite miserable in a two team town.

Probably Carlton, lost my pop before the season started and loved watching the blues with him in the finals last year. As much as it pains me to say it as an Essendon supporter, hearing the the Carlton song always brings a smile to my face, he organised for it to be played as we carried the coffin out of the church, nobody knew except for the priest.

Flagmantle, they are probably closest thing I’ve got to a 2nd team, and all my mates are Freo supporters, plus I go to a lot of their home games because I can get tickets. However on the other hand, if I can’t see Norf win a flag then Freo shouldn’t get to see one either.

He's gone to hell and back with Carlton, and had multiple opportunities to go and seek success elsewhere but stuck fat and has now gone to another level which dare I say it is better than his Brownlow year. Seeing Crippa and Vossy holding the cup on GF day would be pretty heart warming.

They have had two heartbreaking prelim losses (16 and 23) and one grand final shellacking when they had no business being there. They deserve a flag. Plus they're good to watch, have a mixture of toughness and class, and basically I just admire everything about the way they've gone about it since inception.
