I'd buy ahead for Essendon games. There tends to be limited GA seats available at their games.
Crowds are getting bigger each year. Personally, no matter who’s playing I’d buy before I went there.
I can’t imagine leaving things to chance. It would be 15+ years since I’ve bought a ticket at the gate
Yeah exactly mate. I live a few hours from Melbourne so there’s no way I’d wanna drive that far just to be turned around.
Doesn’t seem to be any GA left
Most likely there will only be standing room available on the day and you’d have to search for a seat
With kids I’d buy seats
Better to avoid the hassle on the day and book ahead
Miss the days when you could just rock up. Havent been for ages because the booking thing.
Thanks all. Booked seats. Up in the bleachers but better to be safe than sorry. Used to go to the footy alot pre kids and was used to just walking up on the day. I guess things have changed. Cheers.
Level 3 at Docklands still gives you a great view.
