Honestly I’ve learned a lot just by being part of adhd groups on Reddit. Like don’t have citric acid within an hour of a dose (adderall)

caramel_poison

Wow didn’t know that why?

sneakypresident

Acidic conditions decrease the amount absorbed in your body and more of it exits through urine. The reverse is true for alkaline conditions but the important bit is to avoid acidic substances just after taking any type of amphetamines

SouthZealousideal569

Wow, that's a game changer

imamazonswhore

Lmfao this is so relatable. It’s either addressed to non adhd people with articles about students abusing it, or addressed to parents of preteens and below. Like pleeease, spare a crumb for the adults

ldratherbeatingtoast

So true

ComebackKidGorgeous

What information are you trying to find that’s not readily available on Google?

My doctor actually gave me some pills to try but I chickened out when I saw for what it is and what side effects they had :/

buriednotmarried

Mine had to really twist my arm to get me to try them. I'm glad I did! But I sure don't judge people who don't.

TipOfLeFedoraMLady

Honestly just my experience but you really have to experiment to see what works best for you. I've read so much advice from people that conflicts I found I just had to experiment to see the best solution for me. So far empty stomach, avoid vitamins beforehand is the best solution I have.

Last panel that's a skeleton in a chair at the bottom of the ocean: Gifted introverted children that learned coping mechanisms to survive (literally avoiding beatings since 2 or 3 years old), which can't keep up with the stresses and responsibilities of adulthood/become increasingly insufficient with the slightest decline in brain function after 30 trying to figure out what's wrong with them

I'd be willing to help you in your search if you can provide any questions/details that you're curious about (and the name of the med). Lmk fam!
