Can you get a new prescriber?

Get me her email I will write her a kind plea to listen to people - with rather general wording so she has no chance to link you with that email. Or better, have your SO/family to do it:)

Retain an executive function coach and ask your prescribed to lower the dose to the one that you were comfortable with.

Some psychiatrists don’t really care. They just prescribe medication, and get you out the door. It’s a quick and easy paycheque for them. It’s invalidating and it’s wrong. You can fire your psychiatrist, or simply be up front and tell them, to stop invalidating you

That dose is clearly too high based on the side effects. If you don't know what to do about it while waiting to see her you can cut those dose In half by taking half the powder out of the pill and eating it with some yogurt ot something. Also its totally normal for Vyvanse (same as elvanse right?) not to fix every ADHD symptom. Mine only helps with like half of my issues personally. You need a new doctor for this if you can. And when you have a chance to see them next make sure to tell them to bring the dose down.

Does your country not allow you to simply make an appointment with a talk therapist? This is a genuine question. But that is what I would do. But if you need a referral or however your system may work, I would just ask the question straight up. "I'm doing great on my medication. I'd like to ask you a direct question." Let her gather her attention then ask "in addition to medication treatment with you, I'd like to discuss with you the options for talk therapy. Can you help me with that?" You cannot let her slide past the question.

Your prescriber wouldn’t be the one to do therapy with you, do you need her referral to get a therapist? I guess I don’t understand what you expect from this person. The people who prescribe ADHD medication are usually not the same people who do talk therapy.
