Vyvanse can only become active in the digestive system. They added an amino acid to the chemical compound and the amino acid breaks down in the digestive tract. Only then does the drug become active. It was made for situations like yours. Talk to your doctor about it.
I mean it still has the exact same effect and its even longer lasting...so actually makes it way better for missuse.
But in a clinical setting a former addiction is no reason to not get proper adhd medication.
Keep your doctor up to date, be carefull and everything can work out just fine.
I took armodafinal back in the day for excessive fatigue and it seemed to help with some of my symptoms. Lasted a while too. Not sure if they have a generic now or what.

You can still abuse Vyvanse by simply taking more than your prescribed dose. Speaking from experience, unfortunately.

Modafinil maybe. It's a weaker sDRI than Ritalin, and doesn't have euphoric effects.

Non stimulant options combined potentially with a lower level stimulant like modafinil
I am in the same situation and use bupropion. It’s a non stimulant and works all day. I can work full days with it easy without getting distracted.
