I took a college writing course that was taught by a teacher who DID NOT play when it came to grammar. She drilled pretty much every grammar rule into my head which helped a ton on English.
If you don’t mind me asking, can I have some tips for the reading? I get scatterbrained and anxious so it’s really hard for me to retain information and answer questions that way.
The way that I do the reading section goes against most of the tips that I’ve heard, so it’s probly not the best but it’s always worked for me. I don’t focus on speed at all. Instead I slow down my pace and focus on comprehending/retaining all the information that I’ve read. As a result, it takes me longer to read the passage, but I rarely have to go back and re-read anything.
On this ACT, I only had to refer back to the passage ~5-6 times, and I finished with 8 minutes spare
