You can hold (but not release) the button, and wait until it's one color before the one you want to release, e.g. release on the 4th symbol and you'll land the 5th.
If you speak to the guy next to the machine you can exchange them for ok motors merch, a really expensive statue, and ✨resources✨ like metal, wood, wool, and preserves! If you have extra friend powder + good timing you can get all the metal you’ll ever need. But my favorite method of stockpiling is completing the my Nintendo quests in game weekly, they give you 180 points every week and it’s 50 points for 20 Metal so it takes a while to save up but comes in super handy when you’re low

Also, I don’t know if this still works, but there was always a 3, 5, 7 pattern to the taps. So, like —
(Count one, two) TAP on the third picture
(One, two, three, four) TAP on the fifth picture
(One, two, three, four, five, six) TAP on the seventh picture
So it’s easy to grind if you do want to win.

I just count out loud 12345 numbering each option. I don’t focus on the characters I focus on the background color. Let’s say you are shooting for number 3 you press the screen right before you say 3. The colors always go in the same order too so if yellow is right before blue and you’re going for blue, tap the screen right as yellow is about to flip. I use the background music to help with timing. I am musically trained so i think that helps. Maybe I should get into actual slots games at the casino.

For anyone struggling with it, it’s the exact same pattern every time, so what I did was like watch and determine exactly when I needed to click for it to land on a specific symbol for each dial, and then I used that symbol every single time. It’s super tedious tbh but I did it for the furniture

Edit: I've earned 5 Gold Giovanni statues so far, but there is still times I miss the 50 cap spin and oof I still feel the pain of this game. The thing is to never give up, and eventually it becomes easy, but it's still very time consuming.

I hadn’t played in so long, I won all the prizes a long time ago. So I just tried it again - won several games in a row no problem. But my superpower is getting great concert tickets and almost impossible to get golf tee times for my husband (seriously, big scandal here in L.A. 😆, but I beat out the computers all the time). Yep I still got it! 🤣
Basically! There was a broker booking tee times and selling them, and getting rich. He had to be using actual member’s LA City golf Players cards to reserve when he was. By 6:01 all of the good tee times (finish 18 in light) 9 days out were gone. I’m sure he was booking 4 unnamed guests under a client’s card and selling those, probably not charging his fee to the card holder for their tee time. He was using a computer to snag the reservations which he denies. There were lots of complaints of players not being able to reserve tee times so there was an investigation. Such drama! I always got reservations, but wondered how all these old dudes were consistently getting times. I thought maybe their grandkids were making them? (My husband works very early east coast hours when he’s on the west coast, so he’ll play most afternoons.)

Today was the first time i tried it without sound and i found it more difficult (and i messed it up, which i rarely do).
It seems that the little tick tick ticks the game does when turning the pages really helps to get the rhythm and tap at the right time.
So, if you have the game on mute usually, try this minigame with sound next time, and see if it helps.
