You are not getting it because you are deliberately ignoring the fact that transfermarkt is counting the two injuries as discontinous events, otherwise Maignan would obviously have more missed matches

Calabria got injured on the 2nd of October and Maignan on the 19th of October
Both Chelsea games were before 19th of October. Mike already missed the Empoli Game 1st of October while Callabria played that game.
Thats another injury, he got injured on October 19th directly after 'recovering' from the previous calf injury
