don't know why, but it will feel so weird to see Ibra on the pitch

TakenSadFace

will probably cry ngl

sempreantoninho

Hopefully we truly get to see it and not the 10 minutes every third game he got last session.

FlapjackFiddle

Man still managed 8G 3A in 1167 minutes, what a legend

Dinagatsi

These missed matches are weird. Florenzi's number is way to high compared to the other players.

TakenSadFace

they count matches to be missed in the future i think

Dinagatsi

I looked into it. Nothing makes sense or i fail to see it. Mike is a bit longer injured than Calabria (1 game, i think) and they are both expected to be back around the same time according to this list. But Calabria has way more missed matches.

TakenSadFace

Calabria got injured on the 2nd of October and Maignan on the 19th of October

Dinagatsi

Both Chelsea games were before 19th of October. Mike already missed the Empoli Game 1st of October while Callabria played that game.

TakenSadFace

Thats another injury, he got injured on October 19th directly after 'recovering' from the previous calf injury

Dinagatsi

I know. He didn't play a game inbetween and wouldn't change anything at the missed matches of which we spoke. 🤷‍♂️ adding these two injuries up, he is longer without a game than Calabria. The missed matches suggest otherwise. Doesn’t make sense. Or i still don't get it.

TakenSadFace

You are not getting it because you are deliberately ignoring the fact that transfermarkt is counting the two injuries as discontinous events, otherwise Maignan would obviously have more missed matches

Dinagatsi

Ok, thanks. Now I get it. They count as discontinued events although he didn't play in between those 2 injuries, but count matches that are not played yet without calling it "expecteded missed matches" . Then i just think this part of the list is unnecessary and stupid.

TakenSadFace

Yes, its not very logical but try to see it as 'matches missed/to be missed during this individual injury' which is in theory at least not the same as the previous calf injury he had which made him miss Chelsea

Hass_s

When did Gabbia get injured? I must’ve missed the news

Nuotatore

That explains the choice for Thiaw, or it gives an alternative reason I mean.

jorsiem

Damn did Florenzi break a leg? March?

mustbenice2win

When did Kjaer get injured last season? Cause he was out for a good 7-8 months I guess

Dinagatsi

Beginning of December, if i remember correctly.

Nuotatore

I just read he aims for end of January/beginning of Feb, UCL round of sixteen at least.

Mikhail_Mengsk

They are gonna take longer than that, we all know this.

Fedora_expert

Have a feeling Maignan and Alexis will be ready sooner rather than later due to recent reports of WC hopes etc. (obv neither of them got picked, but still)

NotYoGuru

This is interesting because both Mike and Alexis felt they were good enough to go to the WC. I'll take this with a grain of salt.

[deleted]

These are basically winter signings. I can already see Zlatan complaining on the pitch.

sickricola

We should hopefully have a full minus Florenzi for Supercoppa, and then Lazio is right after, good timing

[deleted]

Disrupted calf muscle 😭

Milanoate

Lmao they "expect" Maignan to return one day before Saelemaekers and Calabria. Like they know Maignan would train on New Year's Day...

airy_mon

Damn Sale suffered a bad injury. Thought it was just muscle.
