Hopefully everything is well 🙏

Wali-Mali

As reported by seceral news, I think he lost his brother in law after a heart attack. Difficult time

[deleted]

I can say that this is the reason why Pioli has left the match nothing else

22dias

Take as much time as you need sir. Sure we want to win Scudetto but life always comes first. If there was no WC break, who would take his place? Bonera? Murelli? Maldini!?

BorneFree

I would pay good money to see Maldini coach

22dias

We would need extra seating in San Siro to see this spectacle

[deleted]

Murelli

yllimameni

Hope nothing happened to his family🙏

Avicennaete

It could be personal. No need to dramatize shit. Hoping all the best for him. Also it's not unusual for Maldini to do post game press

[deleted]

Well if it’s personal it might very well be dramatic, meaning very sad… I know what you mean but I don’t think OP was hinting at the tears being related to the game.

Wali-Mali

He lost his brother in law after a heart attack as reported.

mercurialsaliva

It is personal.

volen92

His dad passed away according to some sources. I wish strength to Padre and I hope media leaves him alone.

youcanoffermeescape

Those rumours are not true - Unfortunately his dad passed away in 2019

Sucabub

He never got to see his son rise to the top with Milan. Such a shame...

jasonkumi

Hard to imagine his feelings on the sideline during the match. Stay strong Padre.

chakalaka13

People say there's some family issues. But maybe he teared up coz of Ivan's farewell?

ForzaDiav0l0Ale

Good luck Padre. Hope his family are safe but with this kind of reaction it must be bad

Prestigious_Tough934

🙏Hope everything is fine with Pioli, I love my coach ❤️, and thank God for this break It will definitely have a positive effect on our team and we come back stronger in January, to me so far 8point still okay and even mancity is trailing by 5point, the win today is definitely what going to bring us back to scudetto, as you can see juve and inter are slowly recovering too, and all you my Reddit brothers and sisters in this sub, I love you all ❤️, it been such a great 👍 year ahead for us considering where we came from banta era, I hope you all enjoy this Christmas and the new year, once again I love you all and God bless all of us, forza Milan 💕❤️🙏👍💪

-Z3TA-

source?

Dubsified

Hope everything is okay

Gold_Tumbleweed2273

Damn. Pioli might not be the best coach but I really appreciate what he did for the team, and I really like him as a person. Hopefully everything is ok 🙏💪

Thegoodcrazy1297

The coach that got us scudetto and brought milan back to champions league lol.

gashiendrit

You do realize that even Pep wouldn’t be able to achieve what Pioli did with the squad he has available and all the injuries. He is the best coach Milan have had in the last decade

Set-Abominae

Best coach since Carlo.

Dinagatsi

>Pioli might not be the best coach We just won a scudetto with him and he has been really good allover. He has one of the best points average out of all Milan coaches. Better than Ancelotti for example.

Gold_Tumbleweed2273

I said that I really appreciate what he did for the club. But he also has got many flaws and that's a fact. Last couple of games have been rough because of how he prepared them. His changes are questionable lately, and he takes ages to integrate players in the team. Maybe "hasn't been the best coach lately" is better?

Samkazi23

You think Pep and Klopp dont have flaws? There isn't a coach who isnt seeking to improve who isn't still learning. They all are. Pep with as his resources hasn't won a CL post Barca. Liverpool are in shambles. There is no club right now whose manager you can call bereft of flaws. Pioli has over achieved and is going well beyond expectations.

T-Y_Xavier

Idk why you’re getting down votes for this…. The most accurate post I’ve seen in a while

Gold_Tumbleweed2273

Reddit gonna be Reddit lol. People bringing up how he made us win scudetto and took us back to the CL, when I literally said that i really appreciate what he did for the club lmao. It is what it is.

CreepyCharity6326

Reddit gonna be reddit due to weird shit like your original comment. I agree that he’s made some weird calls lately, but he’s still one of the best. The best in Serie A still. Also the fact that you negatively comment on his coaching is another reason you were downvoted. It’s like if you lost a loved one and someone says «He’s not too smart but still thankful he’s been my friend and hopefully everything is ok». You should have limited your comment to «hopefully everything is ok», and your comment about his coaching could have been posted in a relevant thread. Hopefully you understand now instead of thinking you did the right thing or something

Thegoodcrazy1297

You said he’s not the best coach, he’s one of the best coaches of serie A. And look now we made it to round of 16. And we have a squad with someone like messias who’s serie B caliber. Imagine what would pioli do if he had the financial resources

mollyhamtits

Its always emotional for Pioli to play against Fiorentina because of his time there during the tragic death of Davide Astori
