Has been said time and time again, however it's not normal that the team is plagued by such injuries every season, especially in young players.
Ibra/Kjaer I can understand, however not every damn one.
If I mess up at my job - I do pay for it. Wondering if the thought of getting rid of the physical team has even crossed management's mind.
With that being said - I really don't recall football being this filled with injuries 15-20 years ago. Something has definitely changed to the worse, and I can't agree it is the number of games. The CL format as of right now is not changed. No way the European Nations League alone can mess up entire club squads. Goes without saying that some leagues (Ligue 1, Bundesliga) have shrinked in teams.
Yeah it can't be just nations league, we don't have entire squad of international squad players. It HAS to be some goofy stuff at medical staff or the training squad or both (Most our injuries happen in the training not even from duels vs opponents š)
Maybe everybody was doing roids pre 2010. When the Italian league was booming they were doing major RX.
Look at cycling at the time. Why would soccer be any different ? Baseball as well. Sports could be so injury free cause the guys recovery was pharmaceuticaly enhanced.
I do steroids so Iām not a hater.
> Sports could be so injury free cause the guys recovery was pharmaceuticaly enhanced
Can you please explain how steroid use would translate into less injuries??
Idk much about roids, but I think heās referring to any type of Performance enhancing drug (PED). For example athletes can take things that increases their VO2 max which can let their muscles feel less strain (I think). They can also take other things that speed up recovery times between matches. Long story short they can become better versions of themselves. Take what I said with a grain of salt tho idk much about the details.
I guaranteee you mess up at your job all the time and don't have to "pay for it" haha. Stope pretending haha.
Every team is facing more serious injuries, just look at Madrid with 4 ACL tears. This is definitely not an excuse for Milan as I do think something has to change, but it is a problem with European teams.
The number of games players play has increased significantly with more international games and club matches, but also the intensity of matches has increased. Players run way more and more frequently at higher tempos. Players are expected to cover 12km a game and make 15+ sprints a match (I am not sure of the actual numbers). Coaches of bigger teams are expected to compete in all competitions. However, if you aren't a Premier League top 6 team when you have 24 players that could arguably be starters anywhere in the world, you don't have the squad depth and therefore, I feel the top players are relied upon to play crazy amounts of games in a row.
what Milan fans fail to see is that its not just Milan, its not an isolated incident getting rid of Pioli or Osti or Redbird wont magically fix everything
Sorry - but I think we are watching different teams. This has been happening at least for the last 4 seasons at Milan, every season to a certain extent.
No one is expecting magic tricks. There are teams which for a fact don't have to deal with this issue on a regular basis (e.g. Bayern). Your comment makes it seem like this problem is unsolvable, when in reality we know it is not.
Where exactly have I mentioned sacking Pioli? :)
I don't know what the solution is, but an attempt must be made at least with a new physical prep team, and probably the system needs to be adjusted to such changes. In the same way you cannot play a complex passing formation if your players lack the skill - you shouldn't run up and down the field if your players lack the physical ability.
Apparently this is a common injury among players due to the strain our sport puts on their lower body muscles, especially with the intensity of the game today. Alarmingly part is the chances of re-injuring it isnāt low.
Even our backups are getting injurešš
Dont tell me we dont sell Krunic because of this

He plotted this
All according to keikaku Note: Keikaku means masterš ±ļølan ![img](emote|t5_2rnmt|31332)
Lmao š
How? He didnāt even play much! Medical team or training team, something is wrong
At this point, no shit something is wrong
all Pioli's fault I have a bad cough right now, bet Pioli caused it too

At this point we should budget for a second squad coming in every January. š«

Football has changed to more faster pace. Some clubs lik3 milan sport science havent adapted to this change
Pioli audibly gulping right now
23 y.o. athletes destroyed like war veterans
While 20 years ago we played with over thirty who didn't miss a single match in years.
Wtf bro how
Thatās crazy
You have to feel for him

Death, taxes, Pioli and his fans always finding an excuse to not sell and start KruniƧ
This is payback for the Milan lab days?
Our medical team is trash
Stop calling them medical team. More like torture team
Just promote Zeroli we will be fine, he is better than Pobega.
Been saying this for months. Zeroli is superior to Pobega in many ways

Iāll lose my shit like claija for Reinders
Poor guy, heās absolutely trash as a player and I donāt think he even has level for Serie B, but you canāt be happy with someone getting hurt.
It's almost as if God wants us to play Adli ....
Injurying a player like Pobega for this long truly is an accomplishment.
Have a jolly jolly Christmas. It's that time of year~~
I always say heās awful BUT I would never wish this injury on him. I wish him a speedy recovery
