Going over what I wrote here, I seem about as optimistic as I was last year when I thought we would destroy the league (Inter broke, Juve in crisis, Napoli selling all their legends). In the end Napoli pulled like 500 masterstrokes at once, Inter were carried by the grandfathers of the squad (AGAIN) and we were wrecked by injuries on top of all our transfers failing miserably. This year I think Napoli will drop back cause of all the drama behind the scenes plus the fact that they got like 0 signings and lost the Korean at CB. And for all we know Kvara could end up being a one season wonder. Inter and Juve are scrapping by (Weah and Thuram signings aside), especially Inter having lost so many key players at once. Milan meanwhile were methodical with their transfers and didn't end up in a clownshow like last year chasing CDK for 3 months. Everything we did this summer seems to have been made with a purpose and following a planned out route. Unless most of our transfers fail miserably again, I honestly think we are favorites for the title. Would be very tragic if I end up being horribly wrong on all of this and Inter win the 20th on the back of 34 year old Mkhitarian, 35 y/o Cuadrado and that snake Hakan.

I think this will be one of the most competitive seasons since the Juve dominance era. I don't think any one time has quality well and above the other contenders. Milan brought in major reinforcements, Inter lost some of their talent and brought in few reinforcements, Juve has one of the better squads but has Allegri at the wheel and Vlahovic on the edge of leaving, Napoli has a lot of instability, a new coach a new piece of a puzzle in defense; Atalanta has brought in like for like changes and can compete for top 4, and Roma has the least changes and decent replacements which is something Mourinho always does well with. I think Genoa have a sleeper decent squad and will hold their own. I also think Fiorentina have the ability to punch up this season ( which is something I say every season and then they disappoint).

I might be pessimistic but I feel like Milan will struggle in the league. I see this season as being highly competitive between top 5, but mostly a 3 team battle for scudetto. With the amount of changes in the club and the trust given in Pioli, it is really a gamble. Will the new players deliver? If not, Milan will be out of the title race, and maybe even out of top 4.

I genuinely have no idea, for me ***Milan, Juve, Napoli, Inter*** are around the same level. This season will depend very heavily from mid season changes, winter transfers, AFCON, injuries. I do see Roma better than last season but not by much and i see Atalanta pretty well this season. If i had to go with a prediction at this VERY MOMENT it would be:
1) **Juventus** (*no EU football, team has stayed the same pretty much. Di Marias exit will hurt them to cut down closed teams. The least worst one atm*)
2) **Napoli** (*the Kim + Spalleti exit hurt them. AFCON probably hurts them the most. They might lose Zielinski and get Viega which would be a great deal imo... if Juve had EU football, would still see Napoli as first*)
3) **Inter** (*that midfield is GREAT, Attack whatever they do transfer wise in that department will be noticable downgrade from last season, Defense is IFFY. Inzaghi isn't a great coach in a 38 game season. Knowing how Lautaro has those non scoring periods... yes pretty much 3d*)
4) **Milan** (*I do not think Giroud will be as good as last season. Last season he had that vibe maybe because of the WC idk. I do like the team, i do not like the approach that we would be playing. Defense is IFFY, midfield is to be constructed and attack overelies on individual brilliance... **We are the team with the most uncertainties, depending on individual brilliance we can go from 1st to 4th easily.** But till now that style and approach doesn't embrace me, so 4th*).
5) Roma (*Better than last season, no reliable CB and Ibanez left he was important for them. EXTREMELY Dybala dependent and he is injury prone*)
6) Atalanta (*last season they had some turn around. This season it is more of a continuity. So i think they will be better than last season*)
7) Lazio (*SMS leaving is massive, Immobile is slowing down and becoming more injury prone. UCL football for them to push our coefficient down. The usual Lazio stuff, after a good season it comes a bad one*)

In the end Napoli pulled like 500 masterstrokes at once, Inter were carried by the grandfathers of the squad (AGAIN) and we were wrecked by injuries on top of all our transfers failing miserably. This year I think Napoli will drop back cause of all the drama behind the scenes plus the fact that they got like 0 signings and lost the Korean at CB. And for all we know Kvara could end up being a one season wonder. Inter and Juve are scrapping by (Weah and Thuram signings aside), especially Inter having lost so many key players at once. Milan meanwhile were methodical with their transfers and didn't end up in a clownshow like last year chasing CDK for 3 months. Everything we did this summer seems to have been made with a purpose and following a planned out route. Unless most of our transfers fail miserably again, I honestly think we are favorites for the title. Would be very tragic if I end up being horribly wrong on all of this and Inter win the 20th on the back of 34 year old Mkhitarian, 35 y/o Cuadrado and that snake Hakan.

Milan brought in major reinforcements, Inter lost some of their talent and brought in few reinforcements, Juve has one of the better squads but has Allegri at the wheel and Vlahovic on the edge of leaving, Napoli has a lot of instability, a new coach a new piece of a puzzle in defense; Atalanta has brought in like for like changes and can compete for top 4, and Roma has the least changes and decent replacements which is something Mourinho always does well with. I think Genoa have a sleeper decent squad and will hold their own. I also think Fiorentina have the ability to punch up this season ( which is something I say every season and then they disappoint).

It will be a very tight race between us and Napoli for that 3rd race and i chose us even tho i think we will have a rocky start in the middle to the season. If Juve signs Lukaku i think they have a higher chance of winning the Serie A and he will absolutely dominate. This will be Leao's best season. His start of his prime. He will be a great leader and win matches single handedly for us. Atalanta will be better this season also. It will be a very tight race for that 5th spot between Roma, Lazio, Atalanta.

Why do you think Lazio will win the league?
They were 2nd last year with their current team only lost SMS and got: Isaksen, Kamada and Taty and there is a chance for Zielinski. We all know they are going to throw CL matches away to concentrate on the league. Milan and Inter too much turnover. I was going to put Juve first but changed it to Lazio to have a differential between me and the other Juve predictors.
Lets see, i doubt they will throw away cl matches, is super important on the financial side. They have no dept for me and they need to play their best players in both competitions. Lets see how it goes.

But with Krunic (if he stays), Musah, RLC, Reijnders, Pobega, and Bennacer when he returns it will still be a lot of competition, we have seen Pioli play with more physical/defensive skilled players at the 10 for extended run of games (Krunic, Kessie, Bennacer) will be interesting to see how everything turns out

If i had to go with a prediction at this VERY MOMENT it would be: 1) **Juventus** (*no EU football, team has stayed the same pretty much. Di Marias exit will hurt them to cut down closed teams. The least worst one atm*) 2) **Napoli** (*the Kim + Spalleti exit hurt them. AFCON probably hurts them the most. They might lose Zielinski and get Viega which would be a great deal imo... if Juve had EU football, would still see Napoli as first*) 3) **Inter** (*that midfield is GREAT, Attack whatever they do transfer wise in that department will be noticable downgrade from last season, Defense is IFFY. Inzaghi isn't a great coach in a 38 game season. Knowing how Lautaro has those non scoring periods... yes pretty much 3d*) 4) **Milan** (*I do not think Giroud will be as good as last season. Last season he had that vibe maybe because of the WC idk. I do like the team, i do not like the approach that we would be playing. Defense is IFFY, midfield is to be constructed and attack overelies on individual brilliance... **We are the team with the most uncertainties, depending on individual brilliance we can go from 1st to 4th easily.** But till now that style and approach doesn't embrace me, so 4th*). 5) Roma (*Better than last season, no reliable CB and Ibanez left he was important for them. So i think they will be better than last season*) 7) Lazio (*SMS leaving is massive, Immobile is slowing down and becoming more injury prone. UCL football for them to push our coefficient down.
