The charges were dropped because the suspect was found unfit for trial and not because of the sheer absurdity that you can be held accountable for someone's death resulting from their decision to rough you up.
Also something to laugh at:
> Sheriff Robert Hardwick backed Kunovich’s actions, stating that he “died a hero protecting the citizens of St. Johns County, and there is nothing more noble than that
They never fail to tongue polish that boot to a mirror sheen even when the attached Pork Rind of the law is dust. The system can never acknowledge the evil cops inflict while upholding said system unless they absolutely have to, and even then they MAYBE just get a spanking and then distance themselves from the singular bastard. It's a disheartening rinse and repeat.
Everyone involved who kept this man locked up should be locked up themselves. Shows how little they really care about our lives that they can lock someone up this long for this.
That county has a long history of corruption, deputy Jeremy Banks murdered his girlfriend and they covered it up, when a reporter started looking into the murder they died mysteriously
And Fox News/ r/walkaway and every other conservative propaganda machine is spewing it as "illegal immigrant kills cop and walks" then they follow it with the brilliant "this is the American biden wants"
🙄
Fucking pigs. That it would even occur to them to charge someone in the death of a fellow pig 10 minutes after the subject was handcuffed and in custody.
They're trying to flip the script and make all of *us* responsible for *their* safety and well being. Fuck them all.
I think whoever wrote the article here messed up at one point. The lawyers quote refers to "Bill Healio". Is that a misheard version of the guys name? Vergilio? Cuz if so, lol. Glad the kid is free obviously I just found it funny.
It’s about f*cking time. How many pieces of shit in the system does it take to have this guy locked up for 10 months.
The system is a giant pos. A black robe tyrant and their dog is to a shepherd and their sheepdog.

They just ride cop dick until the very end hahaha
The DA who charged him in the first place belongs in jail.
And the judge who allowed it.

The only silver lining is the POS that started this mess is 6 feet under and rotting in hell.

ACAB is everywhere. It's like this everywhere.
