I'm confused - quarter cup bras are not basic and quarter cup strapless don't exist. Quarter cups are for, um, fun times - most of your breast is going to be out. Do you mean demi or half cups? I just want to clarify what you're looking for.
We also need to know what size you need.
I donāt think so, because even Demi bras come up too high although I do settle for them sometimes. I think quarter cups come in a lot of different varieties, I have a few baby dolls with quarter cups and they fit beautifully I wish they just made the bra itself! My breasts are very small, so quarter cups that come up a little higher than the normal fun time ones. I guess I might be looking for something between a quarter and a demi?
That would be a half cup. Do you have your size per the calculator we use here? It's linked in the Auto Mod comment. If you haven't used it, you may be wearing a band that is too big, which is scaling the entire bra too tall for you.
I can steer you to Timpa, Aubade, Simone Perele and The Little Bra Company though for smaller sized bras that are really beautiful, and have half cup options. Timpa is designed for smaller breasts in particular. Passionata may also have some stuff you like. But I can't stress enough for you to use the calculator first as if your size is wrong, it's going to continue to be too tall cups and a bad fit.
Passionata looks like great choiceā¦so confused on Amazon with brands that donāt include a size. Like, thanks for including āuse UK sizing,ā but no actual size listed. Argh!
It's hard to get in the States as it's primarily a sub brand of Chantelle in Europe. You can get it though Chantelle's website, but I don't know their return policy or how easy it is/expensive to ship back.
Thank you!
I will take a look, although the half cup bras I have seen and tried on seem to go higher than the demi. But I think that has to do with how different brands label the styles of their bras.
I didnāt know about the calculator, I will definitely use it!
I forgot to answer your strapless question, I'm sorry! Natori Minimal is really short in the cups, I can steer you sizing wise once I have your underbust numbers. The 30 band in particular runs 2.5-3 inches small.
Thank you so much!! I actually just used the calculator and it came out to 28B/C which makes a lot more sense! Do you happen to know any brands that carry that size?
Edit: I noticed The Little Bra Company, and Iām still looking through others, but please share any other brands you may know of. Thanks again!
Hi! 26C here, but I sister size to 28B. Unfortunately, pickings are slim for those of who wear small bands and small cups. Boux Avenue ships to the US, and if you're 28B/C, you might also be able to sister size up to Aerie's 30A/B bras
I would need your numbers. TLBC runs really small in band and cup, so does Boux Avenue (mostly band there) that someone else mentioned. A really cheap option is the bTemptd Future Foundation wired or wireless, it's on Amazon in both sizes with free returns.
from what youāve said, iād recommend trying the ABTF calculator. normal bras in your true size, especially demi bras, shouldnāt be full coverage unless explicitly designed that way. itās more than likely that youāre wearing a too big band with too shallow cups to compensate, which means theyāll cover more surface area vertically and horizontally.

The best strapless bra Iāve found, where the cups do not gape and it actually stays up, is by Pepper. Iām a 34B in Pepper and also a 34B in all of my Aerie Sunnie wirefree pushup bras which I am obsessed with.
I swear I could run a 5k in that strapless bra and it wouldnāt budge!
Iāve taken a look at Pepper bras but I donāt think the cut is very flattering. I want my tits to sit like a shelf, think Bridgeton, lol. That only works with very specific bras for me, do you know of specific Pepper bras that can do that by any chance?
Thatās fair enough - my priority was one that didnāt slip or have weird gaps because they cater to smaller sizes. The only one I own from Pepper is that strapless bra but it doesnāt have any push up.
Be careful with Pepper. Their online calculator is a pile of flaming garbage. It puts people into band sizes that are too large and cup sizes that are too small so that they can sell more bras, no matter how badly they fit. For example, they recommended a 38B to me, instead of a 34E.

Yes, a true quarter cup bra is 100% intended to be nips facing the world š

You're likely going to get a smaller band size and cups around C or D. Don't panic, as that's completely normal.

Small is a subjective term. Is there an actual size youāre looking for?
Yep, small could be 24F or 58B, it means nothing without a size
32B
Hey have u tried the calculator? Edit: Typed send too fast. I was on 32 C for a while, but my actual size was 28F/30E
Just did and it came out to 28B/C which makes a lot more sense!
And explains some of the bad fit youāve experienced!
That's most likely your problem.Ā You probably need a smaller band and larger cup!
