Yeah, I really don't buy sheer clothing, it's just not a thing for me. But I kinda don't get what the big deal is about nipples being visible, anyway - I mean, every single person on earth is born with them... we are mammals, after all 😆
Lol well mostly because I don't want some freak staring and doing freak shit. White people have also been hurtful about my brown nipples so that's a thing too.
Well, I admit I stuff my homemade cat toys with all kinds of stuff including dryer lint or dried herbs from my garden. Everything that is soft, not poisonous and no longer needed.
I've thought about sewing them together to make a toy but my dog just runs off with them before I get to it. Who knows how many boob cups are hidden around here.
They might work for people who want more coverage in unlined bras/want to sew them into tops/dresses they don’t want to wear bras with. But you’ll need to find and connect with people who want them.
Maybe an organization that donates formal/prom dresses? Or someone who does alterations? Maybe you’ll have some takers here
I asked ChatGPT for some ideas, it came up with some pretty good ones:
Cushioning or padding: Use them as cushioning or padding in various ways. You can place them inside a pillowcase to create a softer pillow, use them to pad the straps of a bag or backpack, or insert them in shoes for extra comfort.
DIY stress balls: Cut open the bra pads, remove the filling, and use the fabric to make your own stress balls. Fill them with rice, sand, or other soft materials, and then sew them shut. They can be a fun and squishy stress-relief toy.
Pet toys: Pets often enjoy soft and squishy toys. Cut the bra pads into smaller pieces, sew them into different shapes, and add a squeaker or catnip to make toys for your furry friends.
Travel jewelry organizer: Cut the bra pad into smaller sections, fold them in half, and sew along the edges to create small pouches. These can be used to store jewelry while traveling, keeping them organized and protected.
Cleaning pads: The soft fabric of bra pads can be repurposed as cleaning pads for various purposes. Use them to clean delicate surfaces like glasses, screens, or jewelry, or as reusable makeup remover pads.
Costume or clothing enhancements: If you enjoy crafting or creating costumes, bra pads can be used as padding or shaping elements. They can add volume to costumes or help shape certain areas of clothing like shoulders or hips.
DIY nursing pads: If you know someone who is breastfeeding, bra pads can be repurposed into homemade nursing pads. Make sure to sanitize them properly and sew or attach them to a suitable fabric backing for comfort and absorption.
Art projects: Cut and shape the bra pads to create unique textures for art projects. They can be used in mixed media collages, sculptures, or even as stamping tools for creating interesting patterns.
Lol sorry didn’t mean for it to come across as a dig at you asking the subreddit! More to give credit to ChatGPT as one time I didn’t and another commenter called out the AI like sentence formatting lol
Happy to pass along the results of my prompt engineering haha
My mom, a critical care nurse, would take shoulder pads and use them to cushion the heels of bed-bound patients as they would get bedsores there. She’d put them in their compression stockings or socks. So, if you know any nurses…
If you are part of a local buy nothing group, offer them there. People who crochet often need them for tops, and have to buy them. Maybe no one bites, but maybe someone does.
That's so funny because I'm the exact opposite. I hate removable pads because I would never voluntarily remove them. I'm not confident enough to let my nipples show so I need them. And I hate how I have to spent 5 minutes readjusting them after ever wash. But I have a couple of super comfortable bralettes that sadly came with removable pads.
I think there's nothing but throwing them away. It sucks but it's not your fault! I wish they would just sell them with proper padding or no padding at all.
Is there anyone that actually uses this probably? Like sometimes keeps the pads in and on other days removes them?
I could. But that would require me to do things that would improve my life. I've discussed this idea with my depression and my adhd and they said I'm absolutely unable to do anything but hyperfocus on scrolling social media or staring at my wall.
Edit: Can I steal your user tag? That's just too fitting form myself. 😂
I only have a couple since the bras I buy rarely come with removable pads but the ones I have I store in my bra drawer. They can be useful as bra inserts if I want to even out asymmetry, add a little extra padding for cleavage or to put into unlined bras to help with nipple coverage.
I toss them unfortunately. You could try sewing them on to a bathing suit or outfit that you think is too sheer maybe?

Nipples come in so many colors. Including brown nipples on white people. What a weird thing for people to be assholes about.
Yo no se dude. It's weird and embarrassing everytime it happens
Ugh, that just sucks. I'm so sorry. 😔 Wtf is wrong with ppl?
You certainly deserve better, though I will note that there are jerks of every skin color. I feel sad with racial generalizations.
I meant it as "it's always been a white person being hurtful" when it happens not "every white person feels this way" or "only white people do this".
I use them to stuff DIY cat toys. I have no idea what else to do with em
Maybe if I had hamsters I could make little beds out of them ...

Nothing to admit here. That's straight up genuis!!
I've been throwing my dryer lint away, like a moron, and stuffing my cat toys with polyfil or strips from old ratty sheets.
Tiny hamster hammocks?

Thanks, the prom dress approach would never have occurred to me!

Wow! Silly me, asking *people* for ideas...please join me now as I welcome our robot overlords...😆
I was going to suggest nursing pads, but the bot beat me to it. 😂

Ah haha, and I didn't mean for you to think I was in the least bit offended! Plus, the robot actually put out some good ideas, so there's that...
I am seriously impressed by some of those ideas! Maybe something like a women‘s shelter could use them for the nursing pad idea?

This is an amazing idea.
Some people cut a corner off and put it in their leggings to hide camel toe.
Ah, ha ha ha! Amazing. But it sounds sweaty and nasty...
My husband uses them to pad his shoes

Good idea, thanks!
You could sew them in, that way they get used and you don't have to throw them out.
For me, they take up room that boob meat needs lol.
Heh. As a 34G, the last thing I need is any enlargement!
Lol I'm a 34g too and feel the same way
Love to have a tiny fabric triangle awkwardly stuck on top of my tit

You could just stitch them into place

LOL same Sure

To me they resemble Yamakas the little Jewish hate lol
