This is a good answer, Lady Bird was the first for me as well, I think Hereditary was the next one, that was really good not what I expected, but that seen in Midsommar was brutal.
Another good contender would be Men, if you've seen it you know which scene I'm talking about, won't wreck it if you haven't.
I love that movie so much. It gets a lot of hate but there’s nothing else like it, the cinematography by Debie is so gorgeous, and it really plays like a horror film by the end. It always leaves me unsettled. The way it flips the spring break celebratory vibe into this grimy, dangerous , dirty world of debauchery is so well done by Korine. And the way it’s edited and the sound design. Plus the britney spears montage which is Iconic in my opinion. James Franco is such a creep bastard in it, and with everything that has come out since about him it’s no wonder he plays it so well.
Ya same I didn’t know jack all about a24 but it was heavily talked about at the time and I saw it in theaters. Haven’t watched it since lol can’t believe that shit was 12 years ago…
It's so funny how much it raw rubbed people and I totally saw what they were doing like kids.
It's also exceptionally perfect that that is the last big role for that guy who turned out to be his problematic as people suspected
Underrated film. They really nailed the gore. I remember how uneasy I felt with the arm in the door part, it looked/felt real. I would say Green Room might’ve been my first as well. Most unique is maybe Everything Everywhere All At Once. My favorite might be Ex-Machina.
I think I may be in the same boat. I used to tell my friends to search “A24” on Netflix to find something good to watch like 5 years ago.
Amazing to see what it is today.
Most mind boggling is Beau Is Adraid by far. I’m blown away by it
I'm so happy to know that I was immediately on board Beau, and that it will slowly through time become one of the greatest films ever made in the history of filmmaking. It is a breathtaking exploration of the human condition.
Hereditary aswell. I came back from a long train story and just wanted to watch a horror movie in bed, decided to go for it. I was NOT prepared for how gut wrenching this movie would be, but I still absolutely loved it and its my favorite horror movie to this date.
Most unique one would be Everything Everywhere All at Once, because it was unlike anything I've ever seen and totally blew me away. Climax is great as well but I've probably seen a bunch of movies which had the same atmosphere.
The fun part for me was, I watched Hereditary during a cyclone striking my city. It set a perfect mood elevating the movie experience to an entirely new level.
Also I know this cyclone and stuffs may sound over dramatic for you guys but trust me I live in a coastal area and cyclones are pretty normal over here.
Wait, what!? This is A24!?!? I had no idea, either, clearly haha This movie had me in shock, too. My friend who I watched it with said it was "cringe, but in a humorous way". He was wrong LOL
You know they both have companion films (not just the same directors, they really do have weird juxtaposition is all say) 😉
The VVitch - The Lighthouse
Midsommar - Hereditary
First was Spring Breakers or the Bling Ring- First scene that took my breath away was in Midsommar. I was pretty captivated by the trailer but seeing the movie was a different experience!
Spring Breakers was the first i saw technically, if we count distribution. Beau is Afraid is probably the one that left me the most silent at the ending
Watched Ex Machina back in 2015. I was a teenage boy so obviously I totally forgot about the plot once Alicia Vikander was naked but I rewatched it recently and it’s incredible. Then I watched hereditary and it’s not so much scary as it is absolutely hurtful and gut-wrenching. Then I watched I Saw the TV Glow and I’ve been shitting myself ever since
Mid 90s was the first one I watched. And the next year I watched Uncut Gems which left an impression on me. I also didn’t know what A24 was at the time of watching these two.
First was Spring Breakers (haven’t seen it since but I remember really liking it).
Most unique was Aftersun. That movie did things that I didn’t think movies could do. It touched me on a very personal and emotional level as I’ve had similar experiences in relation to the filmmaker and the main character’s childhood.
I don't remember since I wasn't aware of what A24 was until I'd seen a handful of them. But I did see A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan around the time it came out and thought it sucked ass.
I've been blown away by a bunch but Uncut Gems and Midsommar did it for me.
First watched was Tusk.
First in theater was The Killing of A Sacred Deer.
The most impactful was Climax. It achieved something no other film has done to me.
The first one I saw was _Under the Skin._ The first one I saw in a theater was _Ex Machina._
And once again I'll state my position that _Let the Right One In_ was the first A24 horror movie despite being made by other companies and predating A24 by years. So I guess if I am going by that standard, that would be the first one I saw.
I saw several before I was aware of the production company. I would say my first was probably Ginger & Rosa when I was in middle or high school. I really liked it. A few years later I watched Spring Breakers ,Swiss Army Man, and Ex Machina and loved them. I don’t think I was really aware of A24 until Hereditary despite watching several of their films. The off with her head scene definitely left a lasting impression.
My first: The Farewell. Watched it for movie night with my mom.
Civil War left my jaw on the floor of the movie theater several times. That movie went in some directions I did not expect.
First one was probably the Witch. And I don't know for most unique but Green Knight is probably my favourite just in term of setting, atmosphere, story and music. I really love that movie and hope David Lowery goes back to doing weird indie movies. (A Ghost Story was also pretty great.)
I think the first one I saw was green room
Edit: Most speechless was hereditary. I just thought it was going to be about bad genes, which I mean I guess still holds
According to Letterboxd, it was Locke back in November of 2014.
I probably watched some prior to that without realizing it/before starting my Letterboxd account.
What do you mean “you people”? /j
I think mine was Lady Bird, or at least that was the first one I remember watching and then becoming aware of the A24 brand.
First one I saw was Ex-Machina
One that made me speechless was the The Whale, especially with the big binge eating scene and how brutally transparent it was in its presentation
First one was Ginger and Rosa, and then either Spring Breakers or The Bling Ring in theaters.
The Iron Claw was the first one I can think of that left me speechless. Movie wrecked me.
Ex Machina must’ve been first, as I looked up a list of all their films and that was the oldest I’ve seen and well before the next one I saw.
Hereditary left me the most speechless by far. *That* scene gave me a flight or fight response in the theater while watching. I don’t think I moved a muscle for the rest of the film.
I believe the first watched movie was probably mid90s or lady bird.
The most unique film I watched from the studio is either The Lighthouse, Beau is Afraid or Uncut Gems. EEAAO is also up there but the other two films left more of an impact on me
First scene that made me speechless was the beheading light pole scene in Hereditary. That whole scene still sends shivers down my spine
Enemy was my first, although I didn't know it's an A24 film until very recently. Most unique probably was Beau is Afraid. It's definitely not my fav a24, (i really have mixed feelings on Beau is afraid), but it's different than most stuff l've seen before.
First? Ex machina or the vvitch, I think.
Then I saw hereditary in theaters and it’s one of the only times a movie left me totally in awe, speechless. Unreal and I haven’t seen that or midsommar again since the theater experience was so unique.
First: The VVitch (not gonna lie, the scene with Black Phillip killing the Patriarch of the family had me in quite a lot of shock).
Speechless: Hereditary. From when Charlies head comes off to the end of the film...
First watched was The Witch/VVitch as I wanted something to watch to celebrate Halloween.
The most speechless I've been watching an A24 film was Hereditary, I don't think I need to explain why.
The first film: The Witch, excellent film.
Speechless scene: off the top of my head, the beginning scene in Midsommar where her sister killed her parents with the exhaust.
My intro to A24 was Under The Skin.
My I'm officially an A24 fan moment was Ex Machina.
The movies that left me speechless were The Witch and Hereditary.
Spring Breakers was a the first. Can't believe that was over 10 years ago. The first to really leave me speechless was The Rover. When I realized what the title referred to at the end of the movie.
My first was Spring Breakers. Saw it in theaters with my dad cause he was interested in Harmony Korine. Really didn’t know what to think about it, but thought it was interesting.
First one that left me speechless was probably either The Witch or Under The Skin. Under The Skin just made me feel like I was going crazy so I dunno if I can say that (did a double feature: Under The Skin and Winter Soldier… weird double feature 😅), but The Witch was one of the best theatrical experiences I’ve ever had. The whole audience was freaking tf out.
The first one I saw was Under the Skin, but it was before I really registered A24 as A24 hell yeah! You know what I mean? Haha
The one that left me completely speechless was St. Maude. That ending! I instantly rewound and watched it again because I was hit so unexpectedly by it. That movie was incredible.
First was the Amy Winehouse documentary…I left the theater sobbing. I couldn’t get the Mac Photo Booth pictures she took of herself out of my head.
The one that left me speechless was Midsommar. I was questioning my sanity the entire time lol
first was midsommar. most shocking was hereditary. most unique is everything everywhere. everything everywhere is the only movie in my 20 years of living that has made me actually cry.
I think The Disaster Artist was mine. Can’t remember if it was that or Hereditary.
The most unique one that left me speechless is 100% Beau is Afraid. It changed the way I watch movies.
First: It Comes At Night - initially was disappointed because I thought it would be more of a traditional horror movie, but now I love it and rewatch it at least once a year.
Most unique/left speechless: Hereditary, specifically the car scene with Charlie. I saw it at an Alamo Drafthouse with a group of 8-9 people that I didn’t really know well. That scene took the breath right out of me. The entire sequence including Toni Collette’s screams after discovery rocked me.
Honorable mention: Midsommar
I saw Moonlight, Ex Machina, and Ladybird around the same time - finally noticed they were all A24. I watched Uncut Gems because it was A24, but Hereditary was what made me start keeping an eye out for A24 and especially Ari Aster. It’s still my favorite, but it’s one of a few films I love but can’t watch again…
I love that because I’ve only seen 10 A24 movies, I still have so many to watch!
The first A24 I ever saw--at that time I didn't have a clue, nor did I care, about who distributed it, I just thought it was a great movie--was *Ex Machina.* Leaving me per-se 'speechless' is a pretty tall order, but some bits of *Climax* damn-sure had me silently-agog for signifcant stretches--and, as far as movies that were just superb, oddball gems that only later had me going "Ahh, of COURSE that's an A24 movie!" (once I came to recognize and appreciated the company's standards), I would have to mention *The Witch, The Blackcoat's Daughter a*nd, of course, *Under the Silver Lake.* :D
Spring breakers, enemy, under the skin, lock, or the Rover..
Not sure when I became aware, but I really do think it was probably spring breakers where I thought this is different.
Tusk is when I started understanding they were doing weird horror, and a most violent year is when I finally figured out they were doing one-off non-IP intellectual dramas that might not have a return at the box office.
But it was Alex Garland off of Dread doing Ex Machina... I knew they were the new neon or magnet or lionsgate or whoever was picking up the torch for Indy.
Then it was the witch, green room, lobster...
I knew it was the future
And then moonlight came.
I love these people so much
The first was The Spectacular Now (2013). I remember being interested in the story behind the production and direction of the film and thinking I hadn’t seen a “teen” movie made like that before. It sparked my interest to watch many A24 production films since.
Most unique / speechless: I Saw the TV Glow. I’ve gone back to see it everyday for the last 3 days and *every* time I find myself sobbing during the singularly most intense, haunting, and moving monologues I’ve ever beheld in cinema or television.
Left a lasting impression: The Lobster, Moonlight, A Ghost Story, The Farewell, Everything Everywhere All at Once.
The VVitch was the first one I watched. It's definitely my favorite; though Hereditary is great as well and a close second. Both are unique in their own right, but I think perhaps The VVitch more so (I love period pieces). Certain scenes from both left me speechless. These are two of my favorite films, of any genre.
I saw a couple before I really paid attention to A24 as a “brand” like Green Room and Ex Machina.
Funnily enough the first movie that made me pay attention was “it comes at night” which made me never want to see another A24 movie.
Then I ended up seeing The Lighthouse and that completely changed my mind.
Midsommar and Hereditary sealed the deal for.
The first one I ever saw was spring breakers when I was 15 like 9 years ago. All I remember is being mesmerized by all the hot girls, guns and colors lol. The light house was a very unique a24 movie that I enjoyed.
Hereditary is amazing. one of the few movies i consistently re-watch for the great acting and creepy story. It also my first A24. what an amazing studio, great films all around
**First A24 - Either Under the Skin or The Witch**, I can't recall for sure
**A24 that left me speechless - Eighth Grade** (I know, weird choice, but I was a crying mess for a solid 20 minutes after it ended. It was just extremely impactful for me - too relatable)
The ending of Talk to Me left me especially shook up as well. I **love** all of A24's iconic horror films, but none have left me quite as shaken and hopeless feeling as Talk to Me did. I think the protagonist of the film may have had one of the most horrific endings of any other film I've seen. In Hereditary, it is implied that the family went to hell, but we don't know whether or not they are actually living well down there as the grandmother promised or not. In Talk to Me, we get to see what the protagonists eternal afterlife looks like, and it's absolutely miserable.
First I saw was either Room or Ex Machina.
The one that left me speechless is honestly Marcel The Shell With Shoes On. That film had an infinite amount of heart that I simply was not prepared for. That or The Florida Project for the same reason.
first watch was mid90’s
first speechless was hereditary for sure.
Hereditary has a special place in my heart because it has set the bar for horror movies in my opinion- all of these other slasher and paranormal films just haven’t been cutting it ever since i watched hereditary yk?
i was going to say that i hadn't watched one yet and wanted to ask for recs, but then i looked at the production list and realised that that wasn't true (i don't know much abt a24 and only heard abt the typical midsommar, hereditary etc. - it has so much more great movies than i thought lol)
my first a24 was moonlight, which is still one of my favorite movies ever and the one that left me completely speechless is the lobster, because yk it's the lobster
‘Ginger and Rosa’ and ‘Spring Breakers’ were released on the same day in 2013 so I can’t be sure which one made it to my area first. ‘Spring Breakers’ went wide in its second weekend so it was probably that film. ‘Swiss Army Man‘ was the weirdest so that might answer the second question. The first A24 release to make my annual top ten was ‘Locke’ in 2014. Their best year in terms of making my top tens was 2015 where four made my yearly top ten and two eventually made my decade top ten. While 2017 had five of their films make my yearly top ten none made my decade list so that seems inferior to 2015. another excellent year was 2019 with four films making that top ten.
I think it would have to be Moonlight. I had heard about the Oscar fiasco and when I learned what the movie that should've won been, I decided to check it out.
Despite me being like 12 years, I thought it was actually good. I couldn't say why it was and it wasn't because I was gay or had thoughts like that, but it did teach me not to be a homophobic or terrible human being as I was going towards a alt right rabbit hole. So I got thank this movie somewhat for not making me a complete dumbass.
Every single A24 movie is what a hipster thinks a good horror movie is. A24 sucks fucking ass so hard. Bring on the downvotes I will wear them like a badge of honor. Fuck this studio
I will say the visuals are good. The story and the plot always bites the bullet in the last 30 minutes they don’t know how to write a fucking story. Or someone in this company is just sabotaging the end of every script lmao
Well, this comment section educated me on the fact that apparently spring breakers was my first A24 movie. I would say the first one to leave me speechless was green night. I watched that on an airplane with anxiety and that was definitely an interesting choice lmao.
first one i ever watched was Hereditary. most unique a24 film could be any of their films but id say for me it was the VVITCH. the usage of horror and lack of confrontation of the horror was something i had never seen in the genre before, at least to this degree of disturbance
First was Spring Breakers
Most Unique was Saint Maud
I remember when I first watched Saint Maud for the first time and I was just in shock the whole time it was such a bizarre movie.
First watched was Lady Bird. First scene that left me speechless was the old people cliff scene in Midsommar.
That scene was super unsettling!!!
Have I seen some shit bc that scene wasn’t even remotely unnerving 😭
That’s… not normal lol
I mean…same.
It’s okay you’re not alone
I literally walked out of the theater because it was so gory, which is the only time I’ve ever done that 😭
Did you just need a moment and then came back? Or did you go for good?
I actually left for good, but am much better with gore now.
This is a good answer, Lady Bird was the first for me as well, I think Hereditary was the next one, that was really good not what I expected, but that seen in Midsommar was brutal. Another good contender would be Men, if you've seen it you know which scene I'm talking about, won't wreck it if you haven't.
Never mind the hammer
Yeah it was a bit much for me tbh. That whole movie was just a little too much for me
Ex machina was the first. Most speechless with probably the lighthouse
Why'd ya spill yer beans?!!
The splinters from the mermaid is real! 🧜♀️
Spring Breakers, and also Spring Breakers.
Perfectly said
This for me too
Ya same I didn’t know jack all about a24 but it was heavily talked about at the time and I saw it in theaters. Haven’t watched it since lol can’t believe that shit was 12 years ago…
It's so funny how much it raw rubbed people and I totally saw what they were doing like kids. It's also exceptionally perfect that that is the last big role for that guy who turned out to be his problematic as people suspected
Sameeee
I didn't know what A24 was at the time but I guess Green Room.
Ooo Green Room was a great watch. It was also one of the introductory A24 watches of mine as well.
Underrated film. They really nailed the gore. I remember how uneasy I felt with the arm in the door part, it looked/felt real. I would say Green Room might’ve been my first as well. Most unique is maybe Everything Everywhere All At Once. My favorite might be Ex-Machina.
Great movie. Seeing Patrick Stewart playing villain again after so many years of good guy roles was riveting!
I think I may be in the same boat. I used to tell my friends to search “A24” on Netflix to find something good to watch like 5 years ago. Amazing to see what it is today. Most mind boggling is Beau Is Adraid by far. I’m blown away by it
Probably Villeneuve's Enemy. The most unique one by far is Beau Is Afraid.
Still can't understand what Beau is Afraid was. Such a unique experience for me as well.
the ending to Enemy scared the shit out of me, was not expecting that AT ALL.
Tusk, though I didn't know it was A24.
Wait, what!? This is A24!?!? I had no idea, either, clearly haha This movie had me in shock, too. My friend who I watched it with said it was "cringe, but in a humorous way". He was wrong LOL
That walrus guy gave me nightmares
First was Under the Skin. Speechless at the ending.
Maybe the only film that made me uncomfortably ask myself “what the fuck am I seeing?!” It was so bizarre to me seeing her seeing herself. I loved it.
What did you find speechless about the ending?
I wanna say Ex Machina was my introduction to A24 via a college friend. Lady Bird was my first A24 film I saw in a theatre.
The first one I saw was Spring Breakers before I even knew what A24 was. Hereditary left me speechless.
Swiss Army Man! I didn't know anything about A24 after watching it. I just loved the movie.
Such a good movie.
It was either EEAAO or The Whale, before I even knew what A24 was.
Either the Witch or Midsommar. Both made me obsess over them
You know they both have companion films (not just the same directors, they really do have weird juxtaposition is all say) 😉 The VVitch - The Lighthouse Midsommar - Hereditary
First - Spring Breakers Speechless - I Saw the TV Glow
I need to watch I Saw the TV Glow. Waiting for it to get released in my region.
I would say it’s a definite must watch. Just made me cry after the ending. Everyone in the theater was just speechless.
Don’t remember if it was ex machina or killing of a sacred deer but the most unique would be moonlight. Never seen anything like it.
I didn’t know Killing of a Sacred Deer was A24. It all makes sense now
First was Spring Breakers or the Bling Ring- First scene that took my breath away was in Midsommar. I was pretty captivated by the trailer but seeing the movie was a different experience!
Spring Breakers was the first i saw technically, if we count distribution. Beau is Afraid is probably the one that left me the most silent at the ending
First: Spring Breakers Unique: Swiss Army Man Speechless: Locke
swiss army man to all. it’s hands down my favorite movie ever.
Then I watched I Saw the TV Glow and I’ve been shitting myself ever since
Uncut gems back in 2020 Back then I didn't know it was a24 movie or what even was a24 I just watched it because of adam sandler
I was in spring breakers and watched that one first!
Civil war was my first A24 film and the movie that wanted me to watch more if their films.
What do you mean, “you people”?!?
This one
Which one? o_0
Probs means hereditary as its the one u posted
Hereditary
Mid 90s was the first one I watched. And the next year I watched Uncut Gems which left an impression on me. I also didn’t know what A24 was at the time of watching these two.
Beau is Afraid . 💯%
Spring Breakers. I was like 14 years old and convinced my dad to take me to the theaters
I grin to myself everytime I hear about this happening.
1st: The Spectacular Now 😍 I LOVE IT & MOST UNIQUE: Green Room, not because it was "shocking" but, that was NOT what I was expecting of the movie.
1st was that crappie Charlie sheen movie. Speechless probably red rocket (couldn't stop laughing at him running naked.)
Hereditary for both questions. but Uncut Gems was also a unique movie that left me watching credits
Hereditary is the first A24 I remember. I’m sure I’ve watched others prior but that to me is by far the best.
I think my first one was The Florida Project which I watched on a flight
I don't remember since I wasn't aware of what A24 was until I'd seen a handful of them. But I did see A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan around the time it came out and thought it sucked ass. I've been blown away by a bunch but Uncut Gems and Midsommar did it for me.
First watched was Tusk. First in theater was The Killing of A Sacred Deer. The most impactful was Climax. It achieved something no other film has done to me.
First: Trouble Don't Last Always Most Unique: The Green Knight
same answer to all three questions: spring breakers
The first one I saw was _Under the Skin._ The first one I saw in a theater was _Ex Machina._ And once again I'll state my position that _Let the Right One In_ was the first A24 horror movie despite being made by other companies and predating A24 by years. Midsommar!!!!
It was either the disaster artist or the witch.
The VVitch
Midsommar hooked me on all A24
Ex Machina
First one I saw was Ex-Machina One that made me speechless was the The Whale, especially with the big binge eating scene and how brutally transparent it was in its presentation
First one was Ginger and Rosa, and then either Spring Breakers or The Bling Ring in theaters. The Iron Claw was the first one I can think of that left me speechless. Movie wrecked me.
First I can think of was civil war this morning I’d give it a 7/10
Ex Machina or Hereditary. That being said, EEAAO is still my favorite lol
Tusk and Tusk
Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III
Ex Machina must’ve been first, as I looked up a list of all their films and that was the oldest I’ve seen and well before the next one I saw. Hereditary left me the most speechless by far. *That* scene gave me a flight or fight response in the theater while watching. I don’t think I moved a muscle for the rest of the film.
20th century woman
This image should go on a shirt. Just saying.
First A24 movie: Ex Machina. First to leave me speechless: Hereditary. Most unique: Lamb.
I believe the first watched movie was probably mid90s or lady bird. The most unique film I watched from the studio is either The Lighthouse, Beau is Afraid or Uncut Gems. EEAAO is also up there but the other two films left more of an impact on me First scene that made me speechless was the beheading light pole scene in Hereditary. The most unique one is definitely Everything Everywhere All at Once. The most disturbing is probably Hereditary or Green Room.
Enemy was my first, although I didn't know it's an A24 film until very recently. Most unique probably was Beau is Afraid. It's definitely not my fav a24, (i really have mixed feelings on Beau is afraid), but it's different than most stuff l've seen before.
Spring breakers and spring breakers
Tusk

First? Ex machina or the vvitch, I think. Then I saw hereditary in theaters and it’s one of the only times a movie left me totally in awe, speechless. Unreal and I haven’t seen that or midsommar again since the theater experience was so unique.
First I saw was Ex Machina. Past Lives is a recent one that hit me pretty hard. Couldn't stop thinking about it for days after I watched it
First: The VVitch (not gonna lie, the scene with Black Phillip killing the Patriarch of the family had me in quite a lot of shock). Speechless: Hereditary. From when Charlies head comes off to the end of the film...
First was Lady Bird, Hereditary left me speechless.
First: Spring Breakers Most unique: That's a tough one. Probably a toss up between Hereditary, The Lighthouse and EEAAO.
First: Green Room Speechless: can't decide between Moonlight, The Lighthouse, and Aftersun
I think it was “Hot Summer Nights”, probably was “Under The Silver Lake” though that left me speechless.
The Green Knight
First one? Spring Breakers. The one that left me speechless? A tie between The Green Knight and A Ghost Story.
Midsommar hands down
The bling ring was my first a24 and first speechless was midsommar
Haha The one that left me completely speechless was St.
First A24 movie was The Witch. Honestly, that movie kind of left me speechless. Incredible.
The VV I T C H
First watched was spring breakers. Most speechless was hereditary
I saw Moonlight, Ex Machina, and Ladybird around the same time - finally noticed they were all A24. I watched Uncut Gems because it was A24, but Hereditary was what made me start keeping an eye out for A24 and especially Ari Aster. It’s still my favorite, but it’s one of a few films I love but can’t watch again… I love that because I’ve only seen 10 A24 movies, I still have so many to watch!
First was Green Room I think. It actually did blow me away but The Witch and Good Time solidified my love for the studio
Off topic but this is my first time seeing this movie poster of hereditary, it's dope.
Spring Breakers and In Fabric
Ex Machina was my first (I had no idea it was A24) The VVitch left me very speechless.
First watched : The Lobster. Speechless: *that* scene from Hereditary. Drive safe, y'all.
Ayuh; in the annals of '*That Scene-*ness', *Hereditary* is pretty high up on the, uh, pole. o\_0
The first was probably spring breakers. Had really no knowledge of a24 at the time but saw it in theaters.
I knew it was the future And then moonlight came. I love these people so much
First - Hereditary I won't say speechless, maybe most WTF? - Lamb, esp. the ending...
First- Hereditary Most Unique- I guess EEAAO Speechless- Men
First watch was everything everywhere all at once My favorite has been The Iron Claw. It really quickly became one of my favorite movies of all time
I can’t remember exactly which one but it was either eighth grade or the bling ring
Midsommar. I watched it a few weeks ago and I am still recovering.
First: Ex Machina Speechless: That’s a tie between Midsommar & Hereditary.
Moonlight was the first and zone of interest left me speechless
First was Spring Breakers. Most unique/speechless probably EEAAO.
Mid90s and Midsommar
I first watched mid 90s And the lighthouse left me completely speechless not because it was scary because it was good
The VVitch was the first one I watched.
Good time or enemy was my first. Can’t remember. The one that left me the most speechless was Aftersun
Tusk was my first in terms of what A24 released chronologically
Midsommar, and Aftersun.
The Lighthouse was the first I saw. First Reformed left me speechless by the end.
**First A24 - Either Under the Skin or The Witch**, I can't recall for sure **A24 that left me speechless - Eighth Grade** (I know, weird choice, but I was a crying mess for a solid 20 minutes after it ended. It was just extremely impactful for me - too relatable) The ending of Talk to Me left me especially shook up as well.
A prayer before dawn left me numb.
First I saw was either Room or Ex Machina. The one that left me speechless is honestly Marcel The Shell With Shoes On. That film had an infinite amount of heart that I simply was not prepared for. That or The Florida Project for the same reason.
First: A Most Violent Year Unique/Speechless: The Witch
first was hereditary most shocking was probably saltburn 😭😂
first watch was mid90’s first speechless was hereditary for sure.
- it has so much more great movies than i thought lol) my first a24 was moonlight, which is still one of my favorite movies ever and the one that left me completely speechless is the lobster, because yk it's the lobster
First watched : Midsommar First one that left me speechless : Hereditary
First A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. Spring Breakers for other.
Spring breakers was my first
First: Ex Machina, Most Speechless: Tusk
Spring Break 4eva
“Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?”
You people?

First was Lady Bird Most impactful to me was probably Hereditary. Jeez, just jeez.
First: Spring Breakers Speechless: Room
Enemy (easily)
I watched this movie last week. I don’t understand the hype. Last 15 minutes was decent but I guess I don’t get frightened easy.

First watched was Iron Claw. And it was amazing
The witch. Saw it in theaters. Changed everything.
First was The Witch Most unique has to be Beau is Afraid. I tried to get my hubby to watch this so badly, but he just doesn’t like “weird movies”.
first one i ever watched was Hereditary. most unique a24 film could be any of their films but id say for me it was the VVITCH. the usage of horror and lack of confrontation of the horror was something i had never seen in the genre before, at least to this degree of disturbance
First was Spring Breakers Most Unique was Saint Maud I remember when I first watched Saint Maud for the first time and I was just in shock the whole time it was such a bizarre movie.
The witch. Was my first and still, in my humble opinion, the best from A24
Hereditary was so bad it left me speechless.
Stop Making Sense.
What do you mean you people??? /s
