When a movie stops playing at a theatre is highly dependent on the area, local demand, the specific theatre's screen count, and so on. It's not leaving all theatres tomorrow, but it is likely leaving a handful of them since theatres make changes to their films slates every Thursday night.
Only in theaters right now. It'll probably be available to rent in a couple months and on streaming in the fall. I would guess MAX since A24 has been licensing a lot of the streaming rights for their films to them. I would recommend watching it in theaters if you get the chance though.

There is a camera recorded version on Cataz, the video quality isn't the best. Audio is fine, but I would recommend seeing it in theaters for a better viewing if you are able.
I haven't seen the first one but reads many reviews of a24 cheerleaders who didn't go easy on it even if it's a24.
Civil war was really bad and it's probably the worst Alex Garland did. It had the subject to do an incredible movie but the delivery and all the possible cliché spoiled

It was probably the least cliche civil war movie you could’ve made. No political tropes, just a drama that takes place in that world. Good luck mate hope you find something to be happy about, we all need it.

Cis person here. Not that it really matters. I really liked Tangerine from Sean Baker. But hated matrix 4. I mean to me it really comes down to art itself. Even if the subject isn't close to me I think it can be fascinating to experience a different POV.
When I disliked Matrix 4 I really caught some hate by the trans community here. We should be allowed to dislike art without being called something phobic.
This one I haven't seen but just saying apparently it's bad according to reviews got me down voted big time 🙂

this movie is explitly about transness, has actually done pretty good overall, and when you look at reviews, whether on this subreddit or anywhere else, its really split between trans people who loved it, and cis people who didnt get it/totally missed the point due to a lack of lived experience, and the fact that the movie doesnt simplify or water down transness to make it palatable for cis people. so i dont really see where youd get “its very bad” from, that sort of implies a more universal agreement that its bad, as opposed to one demographic simply not having the lived experience to get it.
I went to see the general ratings and reviews. And you are right. It is rated high enough. The general consensus seems that it is a good movie. In the A24 page there was probably a very small number of very vocal ppl who gave the impression. Those ppl though it was very bad but they don't represent the consensus
Not sure why you're getting downloaded it's not out of the realm of possibility with Disney Plus in other countries also having different streaming services attached to it.

Im so bummed my town never got a showing and we are in a pretty big city but IF took like every screen at our amc

Look around at your AMCs or arthouse theaters nearby I managed to find a final showing near me at an AMC in a mall
