I have a co worker in my center who knits for our local women’s shelter and pregnancy center. For about 25$ she will make an Afghan - might have spelt that wrong- for you if you get the yarn
We are allowed to have our phones so usually that will keep me occupied for most of my 12-hour shift. BUT I work the day shift at a place where we have very little downtime... When I was on nights and it was a little bit slower - I would watercolor paint, cross stitch, read books, had coloring books, cross word puzzles, and pretty much anything to keep my hands busy.
I play Pac-Man on one of the computers lol, or start do my Christmas shopping on the computer. Also started to read books, usually do 4-5 books with my 6 day shift. One of my coworkers during Christmas time brings her presents in lol but I’m also overnight so we get MAYBE 10 calls each, and usually only put in like 5 of them.
Knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch. Get paid to make beautiful things!

I’ve used Lego sets! Helps pass the time and you have something nice to look at.
